First off, sorry for the BS looking standings but the force code function just didn't wanted to cooperate properly. Got on my nerves so I just took pics from the excel sheet. :lol: :lol: I'd like to congratulate each and everyone of you who took the time to race in this and give a chance to this series, it really means alot to me. *tears in eatsviper's eyes* :lol: Thumbs up to both class winners. Veilsidebr taking it by only .021 in GT500 and Studentdriver by also only .012 in GT300. :eek: Now don't think you are the new hot shot in town since you won this because you haven't prove a thing yet. Take it for what it's worth, a great confidence boost before the season. ;) To the slower guys, do not despair too fast, the real season is about running multiple laps so consistency is the key here. In the end if you have consistency you can place higher than a faster driver who doesn't have it. 👍

WE HAVE 10 DRIVERS IN GT500 AND 14 IN GT300. TO THE GUYS WHO SAID THEY WOULD BE WILLING TO SWITCH CLASSES LET ME KNOW IN THIS THREAD BECAUSE WE NEED TO MOVE 2 DRIVERS TO GT500 TO MAKE IT EVEN 12-12.​

Making the teams now. Each team will consist on 2 main drivers. One main driver must race in the GT500 class and the other in the GT300 class. Every team must have a name and a number for each car to be eligible. A single driver alone cannot run a team by himself, a minimum of 2 drivers is mandatory. You guys are the ones doing your own team but each and every one must be approved by me. I will ask you guys to play fair, if you are at the top of the standings team up with someone in the lower rank of the other class or if you are two middle pack drivers you can also join. Start to PM each others to organize your things and to send me the info I need. Only one of the two drivers will send me that info.

I'm glad I didn't get last, I'm sure I would have done better if I had spent more time on it.

Interesting that Mr8, the 'backup' driver, beat both me and Peyton :crazy:

Just curious - what compelled you to use RM tires?

Like Eatsviper said, this really isn't the best indication. Top drivers will still be top drivers but others excel *more* at being consistent. I like to think I'm pretty consistent. I guess we'll see.

Stick ya hand up who wants to be my team mate. All i ask is that you try your best and race every race.

If I can commit to every single race and still give it 100%, I would've race full-time, but I don't think I can. :(

lol, It's kind of awkward to have my "name" in both classes, in bold. I mean, who's THAT guy? :O
 
Quick question. If the GT500 driver is unable to submit times close to the deadline (say, if the GT500 driver will be out of town for the weekend), would the GT300 driver be able to submit their team's data, so the 300 driver has more chances to set a good race time?
 
Hmmm...I think I might retract my statement about moving to GT500. Sorry everyone :sly: Actually, I'm surprised I got first. I expected fourth or fifth at best. Oh well, I don't expect to finish up there very often in the real races. About picking my teammate...it looks like it would be better for the GT500 racers to pick, because more of us 300'ers used the correct tires. It would be helpful if they could maybe post up some times with the proper tires as a reference. So, uh...anyone that would like to be teammates, just speak up. Just don't expect too much. ;)

@viper: Is there a deadline as to when you wanted these temas to be formed,and to PM you with the details?

I sent a PM to someone to see if they were interested in teaming up, but he is on a completely diff time schedule than me, so it may take a little to get a response from him.

I didnt see any of that info in here about the latest you wanted the teams formed,I know you said in the first thread something about having the teams formed by this weekend.

EDIT: Also, this is just for picking teams,right? any idea on picking the cars yet? I mean, are we doing the lottery thing after the teams are formed,before the weekend is up?

@Koly: not too sure you and hotboi make a "fair" matchup by viper's description... :confused: Shouldn't he be teaming with someone lower ranked in GT300 or am I being too pedantic? :)
 
I'm middle of the pack ... heck, look at this week's WRS ... a good chunk of D3 are beating me (including YOU! :p)

Barbol is also faster than me normally, so he and Fryz are a stronger team, plus Kenny, MR8 and TeamLosi are perhaps the strongest all around team out there. Nah, I feel comfortable throwing my slow ass in with h0t .. well, except for the fact that, ofcourse, he is so much damned faster than me, but I guess that's the whole point of the teams :p

I'm sure if Viper wants us to split, though, hOt and I will do what's good for the JGTC.
 
Ok..some clarification here please...

After we pick our teams,coordinate with our teammate...are we supposed to PM Viper the info he wanted (as listed on post #1), or are we supposed to post it in this thread?

It didnt say EXACTLY which way in the post.

Just wanted to make sure.
