JGTC S1 Pre-Season Results + Team Thread

2 teams have send me their info so far

Team : 2fast4u = APPROVED

About the info, yes you must PM me all that. Only once.

Let's go now guys and get moving, round 1 is monday and we have to be all done with the preparation before. I will ask to the drivers to be more online only for this weekend because with the lottery draft if it's your turn and you're not online well you are slowing down all the rest waiting behind you to also pick. Really important this weekend.

If anyone wants to be my teammate, would be better if it's someone in the 8th-9th-10th position, please let me know.
 
Since I'm unsure about those who used the wrong tires, I would like to extend an invitation to speedy_samurai. As I said before, don't expect the same results all the time.
 
I also need a team, looks like zero or evo and i would be a good team. PM me if your interested.


Also i would be willing to switch over to gt500 if nobody else wants too.

If im still in competition - Is there somebody from GT300 tak would like to make team with me ?
I dont know if i can post my time on forum :/ but i can tell you that I was between 5th and 10th ;)

And as for the car selection, will requests be accepted if we really want a specific car?

Also, I was doing some testing, and I noticed the 2000 cars are a good deal slower than the 2004 cars (I was averaging 1'09 around Suzuka West in a 2000 Castrol Tom's Supra, whereas 1'07 was an average lap in the '04 350Z). So, I was wondering if the older cars will have a weight reduction given to them to make them more competitive.

air restrictor :sly: All the cars have been balanced, when the car selection will be posted the default hp you will be starting with will be given. Weight increase are only for performance penalties. No request what so ever, if when you turn comes to pick the car you want is available well take it, if not you get what's left.

Yes, both drivers will accumulate points from both classes. Emphasis WILL NOT be on drivers standings in this series, everything will be about teams standings. I don't think I'll even make a drivers standings.
 
Veil and I have formed team, just waiting to hear back from him to coordinate,work out the details.
 
If this takes too long to complete I will be the one picking the teams out with the drivers left.

I knew that low 1'06's were possible because at best I could have gotten a 1'06.8XX but I'm happy with the result. I dont care who my teammate is, someone pick for me. Our car # is 0

FYI to everyone, when you ask someone to be on your team at least give them 24hrs to respond before you go and team with someone else.

Veil, that was kind of cheap. I would've liked to be your teammate. No hard feelings, though. Good luck to you and Rob.
 
We just lost a GT500 driver due to personnal problems so some will have to move in the GT500 class.
 
Guys stop sending PMs and grabbing my balls for car reservations. :lol: I got like 5 of those already. We will make a 2 round lottery draft and when your turn comes if the car you wanted is available pick it, otherwise you have to deal with it and pick something else. I won't tolerate either baby crying messages because you didn't get the car you first wanted.
 
SOrry man, I thought we were reserving them (two people did in this thread) so I PMEd you, because I thought that's what you preferred. Didn't know about the lottery system ... that's cool.
 
Thanks alot to the two drivers who accepted to move to GT500. 👍 You saved us some time there and that's great. We now have 6 drivers on each sides so let's go and make the last 6 teams. :sly:

I replied to Studentdriver's pm that I would accept. I guess we are just choosing our team name and numbers now.
 
Hey eatsviper4lunch, i forgot i was gonna be out of town on part of saturday, all of sunday and part of monday and i'm not sure if i'm gonna have access to the interweb.

So if it ends up that way and i don't have a teammate before i leave, please take care of it for me and car selection, i could honestly care less just as long as i get a decent car. Just giving you a heads up for what might be happening if you can't get a hold of me.

Kind of a crappy weekend to be gone huh...
 
Hi Folks

Not sure who is still available to team with, any other stragglers wishing to team up let me know, I'm here for a bit of fun, but of course will do my best ( slow though it might be) I'm down for the GT300 class.
@ eatsvipers if you wish to place me with someone to form a team this is fine with me, as i would hate to hold you up :)
