no real life track. look at the gt1 track, and then play pole position. fuji is the exact same track as high speed ring

Fuji is a real-life track, with several (4?) variants in GT4. None of them have the banking that High Speed Ring has, and they run in the opposite direction to High Speed Ring, and the esse opposite the main straight is a different shape.

But, true, the general shape might have influenced the original designers of GT1.

That seems the most likely. I wouldn't say they were the same track, and I haven't even raced on the Fuji track in either GT4 or the other game.
