RULES : Standard Online Racing rules for clean racing applied when ever possible.

Race :

2 wheels on track at all times
Rumble Strips are part of the track
No wall riding
No wall touching
No short cutting
No Cheating of any kind



SETTINGS

I will ask you to follow me step by step for the settings so that everything is clear and understood by everyone.

GT4 Main Menu ---> Options ---> Arcade

No. Of Laps : 34
Tire Wear : Strong
Driving Aids : None
Penalty : Speed Limiter
Time Limit : None


GT4 Main Menu ---> Arcade Mode ---> Single Race ---> Select Track ---> Choose Your Car

Driving Options

Transmission : Your Choice
Driving Aids : None
Tires : Racing Hard (really important, the AI must start on RH tires)
Difficulty : 10 for both GT500 and GT300


Quick Tune-Up

Power : Enter The Given Number
Weight : Enter The Given Number
Top Speed : Your choice
Driving Aids : None
Transmission : Your Choice
Tyre Type : Racing
Front Tires : RH, RM, RS, RSS
Rear Tires : RH, RM, RS, RSS

*Michelin informed us that the Super Hard Tires weren't safe to drive this season, hence the RSH been banned.*

I take that the speed limiter is for the concrete jungle effect :crazy: Touching a wall will REALLY hurt your times. :yuck: Beats a PIT anyday.

gone with still a 10 secs 50k limiter each time you tap a wall...wtf

The crashes that activate penalization are sufficiently severe like for forcing to pass through boxes, 10 seconds to 50k is too slight

We must drive for not to crash, limiting penalty is not the way to go. IMHO
 
Dang I'm slow. But then again I diidn't realize who the tire ruling worked. Oh well. Hope I don better in the race. this track sort of annoys me because if your not perfect through certain turns, you'll be slow.

So....we have to use racing hards but we dont have to if we want to use others?
 
ANY race tires except RSH are leagal at all times , racing or qualifiing :)

Thought i did a lot better in the qualifiing this week but not to be :yuck: all that weight i guess, hopefully do a lot better in the race itself. :cheers:

I know this is off-topic but I have good news! My first ever job and its working with the company that make radio headsets for F1 and rally teams! wooo!
ahem...em...so...yeah, good luck everyone.
 
Now THAT sounds like a cool job :dopey: Maybe even meet a few REAL drivers along the way. Nice going and good luck with your new employment.
 
I wont meet any drivers. It's just in a warehouse at an airport and im fixing and building radio headsets n stuff. But they deal with racing teams and the RAF n stuff.

Those are the screens in order like they appear in the game, you have to put RH for Driving Options then you can change it to wathever you want in the quick tune-up (but no RSH).
 
is it right that im 100hp down from 1st place? this week

you do know that makes a huge difference hehe

and not complaining, cause i will race no matter what is given to me
 
lmao so why the crying all of a sudden coming from left and right because finally an NSX won something! The guy has the same power and weight settings as the NSX finishing at the middle/back of the pack normally. You GT500 guys are not happy well race harder so he's not ahead of you. :p

hOt6o4bOi, what you want me to give you 100hp more on your '03 JGTC car so you can beat the second position finisher by 5 minutes each week like a walk in the park? It clearly said at the beginning of this series that the top guys would have it hard, no domination allowed in here.

I know, you're not used to it, must be some kind of a shock. :p
 
Funny, during my first tire test run i found out that you can't keep up with the lead pack of gt500's on this track, once you start its clear sailing till the end. :sly: The track is SO fast that they leave you behing :crazy:
 
Yea, At least you can race with them the first pit segment, then its up to the driver to stay fo the walls. Had 4 penalties the first run :crazy: that right sweeper coming off the uphill section has that concrete barrier wall is the hard place to get through fast without hitting the wall.
