I never won anything (0 podiums) and i still have funny +1%Hp.....yeah whatever.
And my best lap in this race was 1.32.077 - take a good look at my PM please.

I have revised my theory about lower fuel weight not affecting speed. It does, but only marginally. There is simply no other way to explain the quickening laptimes toward the last half of the race. Consistency was on my side this week, I actually ran two back-to-back laps of 1'40.250 in one of my early stints, to the millisecond.

Pitting strategy: Ran RM/RS in the beginning, pitted on laps 7 and 14, then stretched my 3rd and 4th stints out to 22 and 30, and ran RS/RSS in the final 4 lap stint. Seemed to work pretty well, though considering the time for a pitstop here I'm a bit surprised to be honest :odd:

Ive got a question for Hotboi, Evo and/or Mulsanne. Your best laps are in the 1'33.1-1'33.5 range. Exactly what tires did you get those on? It would be a little slow for Mediums but very fast for Hards. The best I could push on the Hards was 1'34s and I usually got 1'35s.

Im telling you, If I didnt have that penalty, I maybe could have challenged for that win. Oh well.

I was on RM/RS, pitting every seventh lap. 1'33s and 1'34s were pretty much the norm.

I hear you about the penalties. I tried several times to run an error-free race, and if I didn't screw up and touch the wall, the AI cars would brake ridiculously early and I'd run into them, drawing a penalty. My DS2 was thrown several times and numerous f-bombs were dropped during the course of the weekend. The run that I turned in had one penalty when I brushed the wall coming out of turn 1. Had that not happened, I'd have had a top five.

Not an enjoyable race weekend. :yuck:

On the other hand, major congrats to my teammate. Carrying the most penalty weight and still kicking arse. 👍 👍 If I could only hold up my end of the team, we'd still be in the lead in team points. :dunce:
 
hey guys, wow! i didnt think i was gonna win
especially coming in 2nd for the race

mediums i was able to get around 8 laps, and hards 12
when i raced on mediums my best lap was 1'32.048
but on my 2nd race on hards i got a 1'33.2xx ( this was mainly because i stuck to the mclarens bumper for a good 5-6 laps, untill he decided he had enough of me and dissapeard
 
I think i should had played before like on sathurday but i was so excited with the come of DFP that i didn´t even remembered. But that´s ok, for a very first race try i think its a good time.
 
2nd place, did not think i was that fast, figured 4th - 3rd tops. The way Koly was talking i thought she had me beat for sure. Stratagy was rm/rs, pitting 8/16/24 then rh/rm for the last 10, No penalties.

Looks like i will be down the rankings in the next race or two as the weight will take major effects now. :yuck: Not sure how it will effect me on Tsakuba though, with the road being wet and such. HHMM i wonder if cutting rain grooves in my tires would help any. :crazy:

Hopefully my teammate can pull the load this next couple of races, as i will be a bit slow hauling all this extra lead weight, +7% :sick: Looks like i'll be loosing my arse as i will be driving it off. :scared:
 
You thought I had you beat? Man, this track has never been a good one for me and I was the Mugen's Biatch :p I'm surprised I got 4th, to be honest!

hp won't help much if you don't have the handling, your car handles miles ahead of his NSX. Oh and btw the NSX were all available with more hp than the rest and still people didn't picked them. Now that some NSX are actually placing in the top cars everyone wants one. LMAO. :lol: :lol:

Sorry about the best lap thing, people should only put one best lap not the best for each tire type. :)
