I feel hungry when I smell petrol/gas...

Does the smell of petrol ('gas' to the colonials ;) ) make anyone else feel hungry? I mean, one fill up and I'm straight to the cold cabinet... :cheeburga

Or is it just me? :rolleyes:
 
I'm wondering if there's a conspiracy between the oil companies and Ginsters? :p
 
I used to work in a service station which had driveway service - and, yup, it did. Tough when you work so close to so many chocolates (mmmm.... petrol induced chocolate munchies....)
 
dont make me feel hungry but i love the way it smells...dont like the way it smells after its gone through a car...

Yeah, but do you like the smell after it's been through a chainsaw? Or a moped? Two-stroke engine exhaust smells lovely!
 
I like the smell, doesn't make me hungry. When my dad had to work on my brother's 626 to get the fuel gauge to work right, he opened the tank from inside the car(under the back seat) and it smelled really toxic, I had to leave the car before I passed out lol. Some exust smells ok, like go carts and stuff(2 stokes). My dad put this gas additive on our MPV on a vacation, it smelled totally toxic, made me sick. Also some oil smells good. And ofcourse burnt rubber...

i love the smell after its gone through one of those british superbike, bikes !

Petrol smells nice!

Ages ago my class went on a school trip to the airport..........Fun and we got to sniff aeroplane fuel.......it smelled good!

No idea what siphoning is but I had to empty my go-kart's fuel tank a million times and thus actually sucking the fuel out of the fuel-line to prevent leakage and the stuff has ended up in my mouth on several occasions and that's just disgusting... Super 98 with 2% Racing-X oil --> don't swallow...

I love the smell of petrol though!
