Zander is an awesome name for a boy. I've never heard it before, and I'm sure he'll be the only kid in his school named Zander. Cool names get the ladies, so I'm sure he'll have plenty of good times when he's older.

Trust me, you'll be paranoid over the first one. You don't need to send him to the hospital everytime the kid bumps his head, falls down, cries non-stop, stubs his toe, etc. The wife went overboard with that stuff with the first kid. Second kid, he could've drank a glass of gasoline and, "He'll be fine."
Of course, take tons of pictures and videos. Between 8 and 10 months are when babies are at their most cuteness and fun, so take a lot of pictures and videos then.
What's the story behind Zander? I hope your last name begins with an A to compensate for how he might be always last in line when in first-name alphabetical order.

How did you arrive at and both agree on the name Zander? My wife and I are currently in negotiations regarding a boys' name for our unborn child. It is made more complex by the fact that it will be half-japanese and half-canadian, so we need one japanese name and one english name. Further complicating this issue is that the japanese name needs to be in kanji (and I am very particular about kanji) and the government only allows certain kanji to be used in names. But I digress...
