Homologation Road Cars Tourney:My aim here is basically to enjoy the classic automobiles that paved the way for the race cars to be elligible to combat on the worlds courses.

Their history is as diverse as their originating counties. Most are from rallying fame, but a few come from the road racing background. Cars such as the Skyline, Camaro IROC-Z, Merc-Benz 190E, and the BMW 2002 Turbo all raced about their countries in similar events that garnered attention and started fanbases everywhere.

The way it's run about is pretty simple. What I want is just a great no-holds-barred run with the cars about as stock as possible, to enjoy the charms of the older-styled handling, the fun of finding the powerband, et cetera.👍 That simple. I'm looking at really technical courses and road tires for HotLap events, like Suzuka Full Course and El Capitan. If it's possible, maybe even a rallye event if all the cars accept dirt tires. Once again, this is just the enjoyment of the older machines and all their charms, un-diluted.

Wow this looks fun! I havent had a lot of experience with the 'older generation' cars lets say hehe. I will sign up for sure, but I will have to check which of these cars are available in arcade mode as I havent got very far in GT Mode.

I'm talking about total spots before you start the series. There are 15 cars, so do you mean once we hit around 12 people you will start it?

Welcome Benedict. If you consult the GT4 Game guides area, on the car lists you can find where to win each car. Most of these are fairly easy to win 👍
 
Alright, I've done a fair share of testing and also have determine a track list that may be finalized by the members here (I like a lot of say from everyone when I make a series...generally makes everyone happier.).

Firstly a suggestion. In the first post, link to the one that explains the car mods and track choices.

Secondly, I hate Motorland. It's a waste of time.

I've already tried my Celica. Maybe suspension tweaking could be allowed, because this way we don't have nothing to set up... it's like racing in arcade mode.
 
Well, my aim was kinda (like I said in the openning post) to enjoy the cars as they were orginally. While, true, yes this is pretty close to arcade, I'm not entirely sure that the quick-tune option would compensate for some of the vehicles.


....you know what? I'll look into arcade mode and see what we have. It might work after all. Why that idea never came to my mind before is a mystery yet. Thank you. :D

Alrighty everyone, I reformatted everything to Acade mode, and, honestly, I think it works out better this way. I added three cars, so I'm allowing it that if you want to switch vehicles.... Go for it. :)👍

Have you thought of including the Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA 1600 '65? In case you include it, can I take it instead of the Celica?
 
I tried it..not fast enough. :( So...if tyou want something similar, the Bimmer is deffinitely fast and open. :D

Ok, I'll take the Bimmer instead of the Celica. I'm needing some sideways action. Hope we can get this series going. Sure looks promising 👍
 
So why's the Stratos out? I was hoping to take that one now that Kenny switched to the Jag...
