Ok, here it is, the ultimate street car challenge for Complex String.

Get a car, and car so long as it's....

A non race car (tuner cars are ok)
Has less than 650 hp
ASM and TC are OFF

Anything else goes...

Run the car in Free run mode and post your times here, I'll update the winning runs every 24 hours.

One driver with multiple cars is ok. You don't have to run at the hp limit if you don't want...

The info I'll need is:

Time
Driver
Car
HP

OK well I am bored and decided to a couple laps in another car.

easily a sub 4:00 time here
 
Its a ZZII with suspension set up for Tokyo from the OLR a ways back. I think it comes with everything purchased except for the big boy turbo's.
 
How many times do I have to say this, the ZZII is a RACE car.

Adjustable front downforce, and is driveable on the formula gt series which only permits race cars.

Gt-One Road Car is technically a road car but it is stretching it. It think it would be the best car for this depending on where the mods take the hp on the other road cars. R390 or Gt40 road car,RGT,3400S,Espirit350,a Zonda,Speed six would all be some other good choices.

Will attempt to have a skid in an EVO 7 some time in the next couple of days, although 4WD cars are not my strong point

Tofu4g63: Just a word of advise mate, dont go jumping on guys cause they may not be as fast as you

Have a skid in the Gt1 Roadie ya self then and see what ya come up with

Yeah i know...... i was just bein an ass. In a spite playfull mood. I really hope you wont be able to take down my EVO time... lol..... that was the fast lap from the 100 laps of complex..

I would hop in a GT One but my mem card went Kaplunk on me.... so i either got to restart or get a garage from a friend..

Oh look, I just got 4'09 using the GT-One again. And if I'm getting banned because an idiot like Tofu here starts talking smack out of nowhere then I'll be glad to be banned.
 
Dude, first off, your not getting banned. I don't even have that power. However, should you continue going around calling people "fag" then there is a good chance you will be noticed in a bad way...

I dont like seeing members get banned, so I was just asking you to refrain from vulgarities.

Now as for the lap...

Was it an arcade gt-one?
Was it a sim mode gt-one?
What mods were in place if it was a sim mode gt-one?

It was in sim mode, and stock GT-One with 600hp, All I did was turn off ASM/TCS to 0 and in 2nd try I got 4'10-11ish time. Sorry I have a bad temper when it comes to dealing with idiots :banghead:
 
Well hey dude, don't call him an idiot either. I think I can see where tofu probably just slipped like any of us can. Someone else even jumped in and posted that his remarks were uncalled for.

I believe you and tofu understand the situation... No ill wills shall lie here.

As for the race...
Im not too sure I can even do this all that well. Complex is not too well known for me at the moment, gonna take some refreshing. Then it's gonna be a challenge with no tcs, as I am on a ds1 controller. Then again, if the viper concept arcade is more powerful than the stock viper in sim... I might be able to work it pretty well. ;)

Anybody got some grippy suggestions? I might have something in mind... back soon with a run or two. :D Later.

Will run this again soon... maybe tomorrow. Just depends on my confidence with my weekly time and at the moment, Im not feeling too good about it.

So this will be on my list of races for tomorrow, once I get out of work and all that jazz.

btw, I figure that if I can get a 400 hp tuscan down to under 4'20, then I should be able to get a real fast car down below 4'.

easily I'd say kent, when I did the 100 lapper here, managed to get down to a sub 4:10 in a 598HP model, with no TCS

It could use some cleaning up for sure, but the 630hp toyota seemed to be able to find time in each sector no matter what lap I was on.

I remember running the weekly with the maxed out gt-one race, and RER put down a time that was like 10 seconds ahead of me. I was amazed... :D

It seems you can always find time on the complex string. But this is about as far as Im going with the cs run. Great race though, good car + good track = 👍
 
Should hopefully get a replay up soon fellas, having some PS2 problems ATM with a mates PS2 (he ows the x-port)
