Well, I don't think anyone can help you understand the Zonda, but images on this forum are easy. You have two choices.

Simply link to an image that is hosted by another site.

This is done quite easily:

http://address.to.the/image_file.jpg[/img ] (no space in that last img tag)

The easy way to get the address of the image is to right click on it and go to properties. In IE5+ you can copy the address location from the properties window of images.

[b]Download the image and upload it as an attachment to your post.[/b]

The benifit of this is that when the original goes away, we have a copy here at GTP.

Right click the image and save it to your computer (probably in 'My Pictures'). Then when you're making a new post click the 'Browse...' button that you see below the text area box that you type your message in. Find the image and click OK. It can't be bigger than 76kb, but that usually isn't a problem, and the server will tell you if it is.

Flashback from my days opping channels on Undernet. People were always asking questions, no one would help. I felt compelled to answer. Much like work though, the same questions got asked time after time. Man it got old.

Yes, this seems to be a really popular question here, too, so I'm sticking this thread up top. :)

I just had a quick scan through the help file, and it doesn't appear to be there. I know people don't ever read help files, but I might be worth putting something in there on the subject. :)

And if you anchor <a name="#blah"> the different parts, we could link directly to them in the forums when people ask questions.

Actually, it already is in the help files, just a little out of the way. But, you can also access it by simply clicking on "help" next to "vB Code" when posting a message. Unfortunately, people would just rather ask something before looking it up for themselves, even if the former would require less time and energy...

They already are anchored, that's how their linked on the main help page. :)

Here's one way to do it.....

To post a pic you need to find an image on the web that ends in .jpg When you find one write down the URL. To place the image in your post type in the URL as part of your mesaage but put the abbreviation img surronded by brackets at the beginning of the URL and the abbeviation /img surrounded by brackets at the end of the URL.

When posting a picture consider the size. Try not to post a really big image. I try to find smaller pictures. Or if you save it on your PC you can re-size I think.

This is about as big as I like to go(sometimes I go bigger though):

Sorry, but it's not possible for you to do that.

he hasn't touched it in what, 4 or 5 years? He got it for only $3000 from a guy in california. He needs a new carburator though to complete it.
