How could this league be improved?

Thursday's our lobby opens at 7:15PM EST Races usually start at 7:30 but its casual night so I'm pretty lenient.

Hi ERAUfan97 et al. A few weeks ago I expressed an interest in joining an online group & you guys have been very welcoming in your invitations & efficient with your reminders. Your league seems to have the kinds of race I would love to be involved in but as I said when I first reached out for places to race, my availability is erratic. I feel like I may be messing you around by staying on your radar as Saturday's tend to be a day that I work & I'm also looking at trying to find rest time away from PS3.
If ERAUfan97 or any other of you wish to stay on my friends list then I appreciate the competition in Seasonals & possibly the opportunity to be a grid filler for you one day if you desire. I wish you the very best of luck in what looks from the fringes as a great league & politely ask that you expect little from me in the way of future attendance.

I would very much like to join the XFEL but I fear the impracticalites from my end are unlikely to end. Your blue line on my seasonals is a lesson in driving quickly & I do hope it doesn't disappear. :cheers:

I'm still unsure about club vs club because I fear I also won't be able to make that. It would be better next week when I'm free and berry is back

I think I should also move qualifying to next Friday mostly because so berry can join in. Any objections?
 
R34 and I were just racing in the other clubs room in one make races and their top drivers were around 1-3 seconds ahead of me per lap. This is definitely going to be a tough competition so everyone needs to practice as much as you can and use one of the tunes posted in the GT500 seasonal event for that race. We are capable of winning the event but we need to be at the top of our game to do it.
 
It was very nice to meet with R34 and barrett last night. Good racing with you guys and looking forward to racing soon (will have another C.R.N. I'm just waiting to see when the sierra track will be given to us) but I'm thinking it will be 500PP on Sport softs (no NSX or Evora)
 
Barrett. I'm one of 3 top drivers. The other two weren't there and they are usually equally as fast as me or faster depending on the car. Motorhead is up and coming but I say you two are equal

Yes, I'm better with cars that are tuned though then I am with recommended cars. I feel fairly confident about the GT500 race. I like those type of cars. Pretty much the exaxt opisit for the Redbull race though. I have slow reflexes so I doubt I can even do a clean lap.

Barrett is indeed correct! These guys know what they are doing. I have to be honest and withdraw due to inability to perform at that level. :nervous:

However, I will try to helpful in any other way possible as well as start, race and, park driver if a slot needs filling at the last second. And Nassem doesn't single me out! :cheers:

That is wise, I think. I say that because I had so much trouble with my network after the last update that I fear how much fun it will be sorting it out after this next huge update. I have had good success since I deleted my game save, wired my PS3 directly to my Window 7 desktop and used Internet Connection Sharing to give the PS3 a connection.

All the updates downloaded and installed without fail and I've only been cut off from the server once since Wednesday. My guess is packet loss over my WiFi. Let me know if you come across anyone that has a similar problem. I learned a lot from that and I am always eager to share what I've learned.

So I guess I find myself wondering how many races we should get in before the update. Then we can afford to wait for them to work out any bugs or kinks and solve any of our own problems. Just my $0.02.
 
And by the way barrett, I've been working out with that tune you gave me for the GT500. Feels good. You saw me last night with the SLS GT3, I can be competitive if the car is right. And for me, the SLS is one of those cars that is almost the perfect tune for me right out of the box.
