How could this league be improved?

Only got 1 race done :(. Also, I vote to keep boost off.
 
And I must say, the little photo war going on almost made me pee my pants.

Hi guys, just a quick update on my current situation...

Other then just life getting in the way of things, the 1.12 update pretty much screwed me over a great deal. I successfully downloaded the update, and was in the process of installing it when my PS3 froze, I allowed it to run for a further 3 hours in hopes it would finish. I then reset the system via power button and booted up the PS3.

Now this where I'm encountering difficulties, the update keeps installing and consistently fails every single time, and as @r34love advised me, I attempted to directly connect the PS3 to my router and install the update, only to have it fail at around the same portion of the download (2/5 of the bar). So far I've attempted deleting the game data and reinstalling GT6, but after the game installation, the update installation screen from before appears every time I boot up GT6. Even worse is if I cancel the update installation, it just sends me back to the same screen, creating an endless loop...

Only options I see now is to completely wipe my hard drive, (losing all my progress AGAIN) or to try deleting the game data again and try my luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated... I will also be gaming on PS4 with the release of Drive Club and Project CARS, but I enjoyed racing and testing cars on GT6 a lot...

Also sorry if I don't reply to any messages, I usually just leave GT6 on updating and go to school, only to come back to a fail screen...

When you delete your game data, it has to download all 12/13? updates all over again and install them. 2 to 2.5 hours seems to be the average for doing that, but if it drops a packet, the data is going to be corrupted. Unlike the computer, which will take a guess at the missing packet data and write it, the PS3 doesn't. I hope they fixed that on the PS4. I had to do it 3 times in a row last week, so basically 6 hours to get everything back to speed. So keep trying bro! Thanks for the update!

ABOUT US
We are a clean racing league whose goal is to make sure all our participants have as much fun as possible!(thats the 'xtreme' part because of the xtreme amount of fun we have!) While we do have a few rules, we are a relatively easy going league who accepts drivers of all ages. We also are a small league as of now so there are currently no divisions but will be in the future.

CARS
There will be specific regulations for each race. These regulations vary (ex. PP/ drive-train/ year/ make/ model/ country of origin). As creator of this league, I come up with these regulations but am ALWAYS open to recommendations from other drivers.

RACE FORMAT
Our league does 4 clean endurance races, each 30 minutes long, and 1 dirty 10 minute race (To let the racers blow off some steam) every Saturday night at 8PM Eastern time but I will open the room 30 minutes ahead of time. There will be a brief qualifying session before the beginning of each race. The total time to complete all the races every night is approximately 3 hours.

SETTINGS
aids: all are allowed
penalty: none
visible and mechanical damage: off
slipstream: real
tire wear/ fuel: varies between fast and very fast
grip reduction: real
boost: off
tires: racing softs
tuning: allowed
nos:disabled

HOSTS
Must add to friends list

*if ERAUfan97 is not on PSN by 7:45, dreads13 assumes the role of host. notice ahead of time will usually be given but surprises may spring up (curse you, lightning)

RULES
1. BE CLEAN!
2. no brake checking
3. no dive bombing
4. no cutting the course (2 tires must be kept on the track to not be considered cutting)
5. no blocking
6. no excessive cursing
7. try to avoid contact at all costs
8. if you accidentally make contact with another car or accidentally cut the track and pass another driver, you are to give the position back
8. lap traffic must allow the leaders to pass

*failure to follow these short and simple rules may result in a suspension.

yea exactly that's a good thing lol except my nascar pole got screwed cause my parents picked Biffle. Should of picked Larson Lol:censored:
 
biffle is an idiot he just drove into him larson has be awesome lately the 2 88 and 48 are in big trouble at least 1 of them wont move on y would u ever pick biffle i dont even know how he made the chase allmendinger finished 11th and kahne finished 22nd how did that happen cuz kz said he was a good driver and allmendinger sucked
 
HES an experienced veteran and with the new pavement a bunch of people were wrecking
 
hes not in the chase so it don't matter LOL ur relentless with this 47 thing
 
yes cuz like dinger he got a chance at 2 of the road course races in nationwide last year and won both of them now hes in sprint cup and doing the same running well taking every opportunity to finish well and help the team grow
