I can't make Monday (because I have to get up early Tues), but I'd like a spot reserved for Saturday? And can I use the Opel Speedster again in my line-up? (Because I am still woefully bereft of MR cars in this range :ouch:)

Absolutely. Unless we decide to vote a car off you can continue to use it.If there is a car you would like let me know and I will send you one.
 
Ok, my set up for monday March, 18th:

MR: Hommel Berlinette R/S Coupe '99 - 401pp
AWD: Peugeot 205 T16 '85 - 414pp
FR: Toyota Supra SZ-R '97 - 416pp
FF: Honda Civic Type R '08 - 418pp

Total: 1647pp

May I ask, because I'm really really curious... why you had ABS set to off on the STRATOS of all cars? :boggled: :) ^^

I often put a lot of cars on abs off to do seasonals as a way to not bother with the LSD if they have braking understeer which I have trouble dealing with. Or the Micra I used in the Low HP League last year, had to use abs off on that car because it had mad braking understeer even with the LSD set as far as it could go. Lots of FF cars I do this with if they're not tuned though.
I even put my Ferraris I've used in aspec & seasonals to abs off because they don't seem to like trail braking.
But the stratos?? I don't think I'd ever turn abs off on the Stratos to race in public. :lol: Unless of course abs was prohibited. In which case, I think stewarding that race event (with no abs stratos') would probably be a hellish nightmare. :lol: :scared:

hey Watermelon slug... Welcome! I saw your invites for your series. Cannot make any of the mid week; do you have a good crowd on that series?

Anyway, PP Cap racing has been popular and it is very fun. Glad you're joining.
 
Alright guys, here's my lineup for tonight:

Total: 1646
 
Two things
1. I sent the stratos from my secondary account and hadn't actually used it before the race. My lounge on that account had ABS OFF so I must have last used it there.
2. On the topic of holding up faster cars. If it's a matter of straight line speed, I'll let them go in hopes I can draft the straights following my corner exits and eventually pass as tire wear occurs. If Im the one with the straight line speed then good luck to the chaser! I'll be doing my best to leave unfavorable lines in hopes of eventually breaking draft with one of them.

Looking at how the standings have shaked out over the weeks, keeping just one car with more pp than you behind you each race could be the difference of 3-4 places in the final tally.
 
For some reason I thought abs settings were attached to specific cars... Maybe not, IDK. ??
Like if you set abs to 0 on one car - everywhere you take that car it would default to that way... But I never really looked. I notice that MT & AT seem to follow you to the next car, which sometimes trips me up (as I switch between the 2 depending on the situation).

Yes our vcrc/mcrc events, we usually have both a good turnout and a likable crowd. (Depending on which way the question was meant. ;))
I am the pied piper of odd events in particular. lol. But I have most of my gt5 time in the afternoons (US Eastern Time), so I often race w/ Europeans, and not very often with peeps on the west coast of North America alas.
 
They are attached to the car. I had to set the car to off so that it matched the criteria for my lounge. It stays off until it's changed. I hadn't been in the car till the race, so I was left in said predicament.

I might be racing tonight. If nothing else it would make up for the crap night I had last night (or I guess it might just make me feel even worse.)

Anyway, I hope I can. I might be on a long hiatus starting in a couple of weeks so I want to get in all the racing that I can before that.

I've been having connection issues or at least i think i have because every snail event i've been into i've been fighting smoke clouds, having cars passing front and back at 500 miles an hour, and hitting and getting rammed by invisible walls!!!
I suggested zero to take a look into the division's rooms cache to make sure if the problem is mine or not. Before racing last nite at DIV3 i passed by DIV4 to watch some action and noticed that there was a lot of smoke and crying tires there too.
