Well, given how much fun I had last time around here in a FWD car, I'll take Laguna Seca with the Renault Sport Clio R.S. '11...watch now as it turns out to be rubbish :lol:
 
Wait, you guys are spec racing tonight ? Never mind guys, I'll pass on that. I have problems being told what car to use. I thought we were going to basically run some test races for this series. Bummer !

We can run whatever. No points or anything so bring out a similar car if you want in

But everyone else is going to be in the same car ? Yeah I'll pass. Spec racing is just not for me. This is definitely the wrong place to say it, but I think spec is kinda boring and stale. But that's just my opinion. (That's why I rather enjoy this series, because the machines vary so hard)
 
Spec racing is hard. It's not for the insecure or vain. There is nowhere to hide and no excuses to make.

You can't hide behind a bad car choice or gain an advantage due to a great car choice.

It's just pure racing. In some ways I don't like it because I expose my weaknesses vs other drivers. On the other hand, I'm confident because I know I can run with anyone when I'm prepared and on my game.

So it's not for everyone. Just believe in yourself and enjoy the ride :)
 
Sorry Joby. We ended up doing a practice run of Tuesday's 1710pp at High Speed Ring.
 
Sorry I put up a joke about not being mentioned and then didn't even show up. It's a rare night if I don't touch my PS3 but too much was on my mind. Hope it was a great time :cheers:.

I don't have time for all that fluffy stuff. I put that anniversary outfit on day 1 and haven't touched it. I have only completed enough of the game to get me online and have done any seasonal races past the first couple of weeks. I'm lame....

@kendawg are you up for being our official stig/test driver? Basically I need lap times for all the tracks we are running. If you are up for the challenge just run the mystery 450pp car you used for the other lap times around the rest of the eligible tracks. No great hurry

Only way to atone for sins is to commit "hara-kiri" by my own gear shifter....
