The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 3 - Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR GSR '04 (SH) at Nurburgring Sprint - S10 Evening (9 laps)
Therefore, the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. @bublyman wins Prize A, and gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - Jaguar E-type Coupe '61 (SH) at Fuji International Speedway - S01 Early Morning (8 laps)
This means either the car or track will be replaced for next week's line-up. @CANOWORMS1 is the Prize B winner and they have the option to freeze the car or the track, or they can give that option to the Prize C winner. If they give the freeze away, they get to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @vovik05 - they get whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it's confirmed you don't have any penalties.
  • It is recommended you visit SNAIL combo history, along with other data on our car and track history, to review how many times we've raced each car and/or track.
  • Please remember, originality is always appreciated. Although not required, picking cars and tracks we've never raced is a plus.
  • What's more important is, you thoroughly test any combo you are considering, before making it your official selection.
    • For example, any car you select must not hit its rev limiter, either hard1 or soft2, at any point during a race, even in the draft.

IMPORTANT:
  • When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting.
    • For example, if you want to choose the Integra Type R as your car selection, post "Honda Integra Type R (DC2) '98".
    • If you want to select Monza for your track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza".
    • Being specific helps us to update the lineup accurately and also helps avoid any confusion among the drivers.
  • Please be sure to list the HP and Weight (LBS) of any car you select.
  • For track selections, include the Preset Weather and the Time of the Day (e.g.: S01 Afternoon) or it will be set to default.
    • Available settings can be found under Time/Weather Settings, when creating an online Lobby, after selecting your track.

Car Selection Guidelines
See Section 3 of the SNAIL OLR, Policies and Guidelines.

Track Selection Guidelines
See Section 3.1 of the SNAIL OLR, Policies and Guidelines
.

1Hitting the "hard" limit causes the RPMs to "bounce" and reduces torque and speed.
2Hitting the "soft" limit ceases all acceleration potential. Meaning, you're not going to go any faster.

This week's prize winners are clear to make their selections. Good racing!

The IR Submission Form is now closed.
We have 1 incident(s) on file.
There could have been more.

@bublyman, @CANOWORMS1 & @vovik05 will be included in a conversation shortly.

Since the '61 Jaguar has dropped out of the LCD, Prize B & C will be deciding on freezing half of the combo Renault Avantime 3.0 V6 24V '02 @ Fuji International Speedway Full Course Early Morning S01

2026 MARCH - WEEK 2 STANDINGS

1773752100409.webp
* Unofficial

2026 March Week #2 took a small step in the right direction.

In D1, when considering all drivers, we managed to hit double-digits. @Dragonwhisky snagged a win for himself and in doing so made all of us peasants who typically frequent the rear of the grid really proud.

Over in D2, a total of 6 drivers took to the grid which is much better than previous weeks. Thanks to all that showed up.

PSA - To any public lurkers out there who stumble across this chat, feel free to join in on the action. Simply hit "Reply" to the first post in this chat with a message indicating your intention to join.

See you at the Car-Show.

I have completed my review of this week's IR.

Just had a ps5 update that apparently improved PSSR on the Pro. Not sure I can see a difference. Anyone else?

Ok, it does look better and improved frame rate vs original PSSR but it still drops fps and lives in the 95-105 range.

Key Features in Today's Update:
  • Enhanced PSSR (PS5 Pro Exclusive): Improves image reconstruction precision, offering sharper visuals.
  • Toggle Enhanced PSSR: Users can enable improved PSSR for compatible games via Settings > Screen and Video > Video Output > Enhance PSSR Image Quality.
  • Welcome Hub Updates: New "Showcase Mode" allows for a full, unobstructed view of backgrounds, and a "Slideshow Mode" enables rotating through images in your Media Gallery.
  • Unicode 17.0 Emojis: Support for the latest emojis in messages.
  • System Improvements: General enhancements to system software performance and stability.

The update is rolling out in phases, so it may appear on consoles throughout the day.

I didn’t notice an update yet today. Also I STRICTLY play GT7 on PSVR2 so not sure I’ll see a difference.

Practice lobby open. Just one combo for certain at this point so there may be some random events thrown in. Only day I have available this week so come on out if you can.

Lobby closed. Post if you get on and want to race I’ll be around.

Prize A @JamCar0ne

Ok, I maybe not making friends with that but, I wanna do thing differently so, here it is.

Racing Kart 125 Shifter
561.31PP, 49 HP, 231 lbs., SS tires

Autodrome Lago Maggiore - Center Reverse
S01, Sunset, MDLT 0:55.00 for 18 laps.

Last race with the kart was back in october 2024 and I think we never race on that layout. Stay away from the curb and go gentle with streering outputs.

We have a non-responsive prize winner this week. We will run a vote for prize C. If you raced in D2 this last Sunday, you may make a suggestion for a car for Fuji International Speedway - S01 Early Morning.

D2, post in this thread your suggestion. Deadline for suggestions will be 11pm EST tonight.

Hey fellas... just reaching out to let ya know im still around and cant wait to get back at it. Its mildly depressing being away from driving completely for the last few weeks.

I had to send my T598 to France to get repaired. It'll be gone 5 weeks. Tore my rig all the way down to weld in all the mounts for my bass shakers. Installed my new Clubsport sep up and switched over to a load cell pedal.... which I hate. Im learning to brake all over again... which is horribly annoying. Huge step backwards in consistency but ill get it figured out.

Hope all is well... ill be out this Sunday as well but look forward to seeing you guys next week.

This is great video on how-to set your loadcell brake pedal.

I'm here, just wasn't on forums yesterday. Sorry. Should have a choice sometime this evening. Thanks

Well here goes. It's been a while since I did this last and I hope I can remember the instructions @Dragonwhisky gave me then.

A shout out to @CdnSweetTee who podiumed in all races this season.

Here are some photos I took of D2 races on the Ides of March:

@ZoomZoomMf Me and @CdnSweetTee contemplate the consequences of this orientation while approaching the 'chicane of death'. Meanwhile @racingchamp30 contemplates options for avoiding any carnage that might result.

While some work on their body roll handling skills @Crunchy Taco pulls over for a cold one.

And then there were 4. I love(?) reverse grid races.

D1? Prize C winner is Vovik in D1.

The new 69 Camaro Race Mod!

If it’s D1 then I vote GT-R Nismo GT3 ‘13

If I'm following how @Akzl298 is running this, D2 will suggest cars and either D1, or all the drivers that raced the 15th, will vote on which suggestion to use. Akzl will be the final word on it in any case.

It's 6p eastern D2. You have 5 hours to suggest a car so the voting can be completed before practice tomorrow evening.

@racingchamp30, @CdnSweetTee, @CANOWORMS1, @ZoomZoomMf, @Skills, @Crunchy Taco .

@vovik05 Unfortunately, you've transferred your choices to the above mentioned SNAILs. "Better late than never" does not apply.
Crap. I demurred as I thought the initial D1 votes were correct. I'll let someone else suggest the Camaro. My suggestion is the BMW Z4 GT3 '11, which hasn't been used since 2018.

Ran the shifter kart a bit last night and here is a tip, adjust your wheel's degrees of rotation if you cannot get through a corner without spinning. Don't know what degrees the game tells the wheel to be, but it is not enough. Found 520 degrees to be a decent number for me.

I feel like its set to about 240. Completely doable but 300 takes the edge off. Or going on a controller is even better. Much safer and quicker.

D1, if you raced this past Sunday, you may now vote between the two options. Your post must be made in this thread. You may only vote once, and your post must not be edited. First vote will be the tiebreaker. Voting will end at 5pm EST Thursday
