Ruh roh, I'm now in D3! That seems like a huge step forward from D4! I'm definetly going to be out of my element for the first few weeks!:scared::nervous::indiff::dunce:
Will miss everyone from D4! Keep it between the lines guys!👍

P.S. So is D3 starting at 9:30 or 10:00?

The S.N.A.I.L. Schedule has been updated with the new start time for D3.

We now have the same start time in all 5 divisions! ....and I get an extra half hour of sleep before driving to work Monday mornings 👍 :).

Sorry Joby. Do you work late Sunday nights?

And with that any hope of rejoining Sundays is gone for me:( Anyone want to run in a late night SNAIL Division with me;)

That's the primary reason I can't go on Sunday either. The switch from 10 to 9:30 kinda killed it for me 90% of the time.

I'll run with ya Joby...something for people who can't or won't run the Sunday sprint races. Start at or just after 10pm.

speaking of 3d being a flop, what about if the cell processor was some way more optimized for video games. as far as that domain it is a flop, the video game experience could have been so much more...

I live on the west coast. 6:30 is just too early to start.

Sounds like a plan although the later the start the better even if that means I only get an hour of good racing in. I guess we could always just run more Cap Racing:)

Bandit,

Welcome to D3!

/me waves to Rally. Who's gonna be D3 Director now? Oshawa? Wolf? Anyone?

My painting of the rig mods took an unexpected turn. I had to kick the Logistics Chief in his baggy pants for not ordering enough paint. Additional paint is on order but won't be in until mid to late next week. Dang vendors and their shipping tools anyway. The small hardware parts have their 3 coats and have sufficiently cured. Now I just gotta keep the dust and critters off the big pieces while I wait for paint.

I was one sad cat when this paint snafu occured. It was well balanced by the anticipation and further development of the new, shiny and not needing any additional paint, SNAILIRR, which stands for Sunday Night American Interactive League Incident Report and Review system. We currently have sufficient guinea pigs, er, Testers, to wring it out a couple more times before going live, which we expect to do in the next couple of weeks. In an effort to prepare league members and this system for widespread use, expect GTP PMs, to be sent from myself, asking for certain information from each of you, that will make this work and adhere to current incident reporting policy and philosophy.

Thanks to everyone who has helped develop and test this system, but most of all, a HUGE Thank You to kcheeb! He's taken something rudimentary and not very sophisticated and made it into an application that will be both useful and elegant. It should simplify the process at all levels.

Would do it except I'll be jumping through flaming hoops just to make 3 of 4 Sundays. Starting a 3rd job on the 9th and that gives me 3 work schedules to work around, making me an unreliable for attendance.

"Detailed Results" question. Have not been able to see the Graphs portion of the Results for quite a while. Is there a setting I need to change? Just wondering.

Okay SNAILs, here we go! One of you is just days away from winning a ButtKicker Gamer 2 thanks to our friends at ButtKicker! So who's going to be the lucky winner? Based on the rules of the contest, here are the finalists along with how many picks they get:
  • cmbeal317 --------- 7 picks
  • Garage-father ----- 7 picks
  • hooker4 ----------- 7 picks
  • nmcp1 ------------- 7 picks
  • OwensRacing ------- 7 picks
  • raymann500 -------- 7 picks
  • Sandblazter ------- 7 picks
  • Nic-KL ------------ 6 picks
  • o10231994 --------- 6 picks
  • RacingChamp30 ----- 6 picks
  • canuckleheadII ---- 6 picks
  • SoundTiger95 ------ 6 picks
  • Xrad-11 ----------- 5 picks
  • AG07WRXTR --------- 4 picks
  • martin20az -------- 4 picks
  • QwietStorm03 ------ 4 picks
  • TEX-36 ------------ 4 picks
Each finalist will entered into a raffle in which one of one hundred numbers will be "randomly" picked. The number range will be 00 to 99. The number listed next to each finalist's name represents the number of "picks" that he gets. As you have probably noticed, the more ButtKicker points each finalist earned, the more picks they get and the better chance they have to win. The drivers listed with 7 picks achieved a perfect ButtKicker score, meaning they competed every Sunday race for the past two months without collecting a single penalty!

As we did last time, we will once again be using a Formula 1 race to pick the random number and therefore determine our winner. The last two digits of the DHL Fastest Lap Award for this Sunday's Italian Gran Prix will be the winning number. For example, if the if the fastest lap during the race is 1:27.239 , then the finalist who picked 39 would be the winner of the ButtKicker Challenge!

All of the finalists will be receiving a PM from shortly that will provide detailed instructions as well as brief terms and conditions for participating in the contest. You will be required to post your picks on the thread, but please do not post your picks before you read my PM.

Good luck to all of you!! :gtpflag:

Hey Tex,

I'll have a look at it at lunch. We're at the end of the month and the document is rather 'full', that sometimes causes it grief or takes a really long time to load.

Thanks for the heads up 👍
