Sharkie and Mopar, I really appreciate you guys going the extra mile to help the laptime challenged out. I'll do whatever works best for you guys. I don't want to be the cause of you going slower on Sundays, no really :sly:

đź‘Ť

Mopar & I are glad to give the knowledge we have to anyone who wants it. If we can improve the lap times for those who want it, then it make for better, closer & more competitive racing, which is what the league is all about. :D

Thank you for your appreciation, and You're Welcome for the help. :)

I also really appreciate all the time and effort you've been so generous with. Although, I must say, a D1 driver (especially with the track record of kcheeb) asking for help is like a successful businessman standing in the welfare line! Must be that good ol' Canadian socialism.. freakin' everybody gets a handout! :P

cheeb, quit hogging all the seats in class and let some of us D2 and D3 drivers go to school! Maybe you should go to the 'gifted and talented' school across the street? :D

Ahhh socialism, it's not for everyone :sly:

Quit bringing in people that are faster than me  I'll sit in the back row if that helps you 'slow' guys :)

These last two weeks have shown me my strategy of not necessarily being the fastest, but consistent, isn't cutting it. These days you need to be consistent and fast. I plan on being both, with a little help of course!!!

Get back to you on what? I accepted your friend request. Was there something I missed?

the list of people I invited to the league, there are people that I've not heard anything from, despite the fact they read my message on PSN and ignored it. That's just rude.

That is what I was referring to.

Ah...its all coming together. That you're left hanging is unfortunate. I think is time to mount up gents and go after these selfish 🤬 Chivalry is alive and well here. It's as if they are blind to your being a goddess. Shameful!

Tangent: Rally and I should try being partners for cat and mouse. We work well against each other...wonder how we get along together. đź’ˇ

Hey all. I just wanted to give advance notice to Zero or whomever keeps track, but I won't be able to make the next 2 Sundays. (18th and 25th) as I'll be on Vacation. So, just an FYI. I don't care whatever the answer is, but does that mean when I get back I''ll be bumped down to D3? Just curious, and it's probably a good place to start over from scratch if so.
Happy Tuesday to all!

Machine, thanks for the heads up. Because you've provided advance notice, you'll retain your spot in D2 when you return. đź‘Ť

This brings up a good point for our league going forward. In the past we only required our D1 drivers to provide advanced notice because it was the only division that had a limited number of spots available. However, now that we've expanded to three division, our D2 is now in the same situation of having a limited number of spots available. Therefore, anyone in either D1 or D2 who no-shows for league night without advanced notice will be relegated down one division the following week. Of course, exceptions will be made if someone's circumstances prevent them from being able to provide advanced notice, but in general this will be the policy going forward. Let me know if you have any question or concerns.

While I'm nowhere near the polished driver I was with GT3, I do think I'll be able to hold my own. D1 may be a while but D2 should be a relatively quick promotion. In this series (much like in my MLG days), finesse if crucial. I've not got the seat time to be where I'd like, but I'm getting there. Thanks for the invite and the recognition of my efforts. It's nice to know people notice others trying to do things the right way!

Hey guys I won't be hosting TNT tonight I got some plans with the ole lady. Puddin_head might host or anyone else can feel free to host up..

This is exactly the reason why I invited you to this group. You are a good fit here, and you will enjoy the close, clean, competitive racing this group has to offer.

I'm quite interested in joining SNAIL. I'll admit, I'm a little intimidated/concerned - I've done very little online racing. When I have, it's been a mixed bag.

What I once thought was "Dude, that's hacking!" has been made clear to me as "Dude, that's... lag!" And I've seen it.

I'm willing to try, but I've only semi-really-raced against AI. And my style there was much more dirty racin' than not.

That's gotten boring, and I'm ready to learn - I've bought the baseline cars, and I've been practicing a little bit on those or untuned cars. My "I'm not too mortified to admit my main/freak acct, but this is the one that I told my son is my 'win races' accout" is "Handlebar_Man" on PSN.

That's on account of my stylin' moustache, but beyond that, I'm yer huckleberry, even if I'm not sure I can race with y'all. I'm willing to try, and learn.

Well, that, and if I can show the Wife I can race and not crash, I can get a Fastback or something.

I'm not making headway towards importing an R32 OR Evo IV...

I'm persuasive... I was thinking of a Morgan, or the Beemer Factory deal, but I'm guessing the realistic shot is a less expensive one. Ergo, show 'er the high price ones, then go with... "But, Honey, this one is only...." đź‘Ť

Anywho - I do intend to learn. Thanks.

"Do your best, and your best can possibly get better!"

Thanks for your interest. I think you'll find that we're a good to group to drive with and learn from, regardless of your still level. The first thing you gotta do is leave your dirty racin' with the AI and have a completely different mindset with us. As long as you can do that, you'll be a welcome addition to the league. I've just sent you a friend invite so please proceed to Steps 2 through 5 of the original post. If you want to race with us before Sunday night, be sure to check our weekday schedule as well. Let us know if you have any questions at all.

I got tired of waiting for Dirty so I have a room up....

Autumn Ring:

Yikes! i guess i have some work to do on the Autumn Ring!

If it comes with adjustable parts, then you can make adjustments. However, the Idea is NOT to adjust anything. You want to test your Driving skills, not your Tuning skills

To be clear, even though the Amuse has adjustable suspension and downforce, we're supposed to leave everything at the default settings, right?

Correct, everything stock with the car, only tires, paint and rims can be changed (along with oil). Make sure you "Break in the engine", to gain the extra HP (about 180-200 miles) should be good.

I believe we can adjust the brake bias too since everyone likes their car a little differently stability-through-braking-and-corners-wise.

I don't think you fully understood dirty's last post.

...or just didn't read it closely enough

You're right, I didn't read it closely, I replied to his post while finishing a race.

I didn't see a saying Dirty would not be able to host a room. My Apologies.
