Today was the 3rd one hour endurance event brought to life by @TexHill. Thanks for taking the time to put these on for us, the fuel and tire wear multipliers were spot on once again!

4 people on grid seems to be the magic number for us, as that's what we've had at all three events. The three of us that've been there each time fall back as @superb3113 makes a dash for the front right out of the gate.

It's cool to see the different strategies at play. I began with my sports softs on and left the fuel map at 1. @TexHill did the opposite and started off with his SH tires and a much more conservative approach to fuel consumption. @bublyman and @superb3113 patiently following me through the Carousel.

1000006938.jpg

My soft tires burned up in the first lap and @TexHill stayed out for a few more laps while I had to pit. With his lowered fuel map, I was able to catch up on my SM tires during my second lap on track.

Meanwhile @bublyman and @superb3113 are having a battle for first place. Each had to pit after the first lap and left within seconds of each other.

After Bubly and Superb had to pit and I didn't, I got to enjoy some more time in the lead. This shot was taken in the long final straight using the zoom lens set on max. They look closer here than they did on track.

1000006941.jpg

I needed tires and was almost out of fuel while @superb3113 only need half a tank and tires. He makes up a ton of ground this round in the pits and comes out right behind me.

1000006942.jpg

@TexHill is able to skip pit row again and catches up to Bubly. I didn't take any notes here so my apologies if I'm getting any of this wrong.

1000006943.jpg

My time in the lead is over as I take a right when I should've taken a left and leave a crater behind. @superb3113 had been taking it easy behind me just saving fuel and catching a draft.

@bublyman is soon filling the mirrors up after I make a few more mistakes in the slower sections of the track. The Half Carousel (sorry, don't know all the names here) is just ahead.

Now it's @superb3113's turn to star in the blurry zoomed in photo on the last straight as we capture the moment @bublyman overtakes me for second.

Me spinning in the back, Bubly smiling in the front, I imagine. Nice helmet by the way!

1000006948.jpg

These two pretty much ran the second half of the last lap side by side. Very impressive driving from both of you!

1000006949.jpg

Still running nose to nose nearing the end of the final straight, I know this had to be a nail biter.

It's hard to say if this accident cost @bublyman the win or not because if you look at the fuel level he is slap out of gas! None the less he gets loose on the second to last corner and hits the wall and @superb3113 pulls away to take the victory. A very hard-fought battle, and his fuel gauge is in the red also. Even though I wasn't close to these guys, I finished the race with very little fuel and SM tires with less meat than these here.

This is the moment when @bublyman ran out of fuel, just before @superb3113 crosses the finish line. Congratulations guys that was a great race. These 1-hour events are going by faster each time.

That will probably be the extent of my racing events for the week. I'll be taking off tomorrow afternoon on another run that, unfortunately, cannot wait until after midnight to be departed for. @TexHill, @bublyman, and @superb3113, thank you for the chance to get my fix in while I can.

This is my car show for the week.

Only would've been running two tonight due to a wide body kit on my 66 bug. I wanted a Hoonigan livery on it a long time ago and the one I liked just so happened to be wide body so on it went. I'll be sure to pick a new one up next time I see it's available.

@TexHill @bublyman @radliffracing Good racing with you guys last night, and great pictures! That was a lot of fun, especially trying to manage fuel and tires. I had to pit just before the last lap, because I accidentally swapped to SS instead of SM tires. I left pit with exactly 1 lap of fuel, just as @bublyman passed. Ended up crossing the line with 0.1 fuel left.
I had a great time as well! The fuel and tire management adds an interesting and entertaining twist. The chatting while we're driving is the cherry on top!

I've been more of a participant in the Car-Show in recent weeks then the actual races.

Because it's May the Fourth, I tried to find a Scape for my Car-Show entry that best resembles a desolate planet far, far away. Not sure if I pulled it off or not but I tried.

I should be participating tonight (at least partially..). Got to re-earn my full time driver status.

@radliffrgrad thank you for your critique of yesterday's race. You do a great job. @radliffracing, @bublyman, and @superb3113 , thank you for participating yesterday. You guys are awesome!

Are you sure? Apparently there was a really good update to the psvr2 visuals, especially with the ps5 pro.
Yup. Pretty sure. Haven't driven since before the PS5 and PSVR2 update hit. Probably be a couple more days before I do too.
