Where do we find what combo was voted out? I am sure its posted somewhere but it eludes me

THERE are so many lobbies I have issuez trying to figure out where to post and look 🥲

Is this the new almeda racing replacement and does this happen monthly when a new month begins?

It is with a heavy heart I ask all Snails, past and present, to raise a glass and give some thought for MajorBlixem/Willie and his family. Willie passed away today. He will be remembered.
I remember racing with him at silverstone in GT6 with the NISMO GT-R.. rest in peace.. 😭

  2. Canoworms1 -------- voted to eliminate Round 1 - 86 (93.65 for Prize C)
  3. JamCar0ne --------- voted to eliminate Round 2
  4. Mac1032763 -------- voted to eliminate Round 2
  5. awhitmo ----------- voted to eliminate Round 1
  6. Kryption-evo ------ voted to eliminate Round 2
  7. papa_carlos74 ----- voted to eliminate Round 1

  9. Tex_Hill ---------- did not submit a vote
The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 1 - Volkswagen 1200 '66 (CM) at Autodrome Lago Maggiore - West End - S03 Early Morning (10 laps)
Therefore, the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. @racingchamp30 wins Prize A, and gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - Aston Martin Vantage '18 (SM) at Kyoto Driving Park Yamagiwa Reverse - S05 Sunset (9 laps)
This means either the car or track will be replaced for next week's line-up. @ErickGaToRR is the Prize B winner and they have the option to freeze the car or the track, or they can give that option to the Prize C winner. If they give the freeze away, they get to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @CANOWORMS1 - they get whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it's confirmed you don't have any penalties.
  • It is recommended you visit SNAIL combo history, along with other data on our car and track history, to review how many times we've raced each car and/or track.
  • Please remember, originality is always appreciated. Although not required, picking cars and tracks we've never raced is a plus.
  • What's more important is, you thoroughly test any combo you are considering, before making it your official selection.
    • For example, any car you select must not hit its rev limiter, either hard1 or soft2, at any point during a race, even in the draft.

IMPORTANT:
  • When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting.
    • For example, if you want to choose the Integra Type R as your car selection, post "Honda Integra Type R (DC2) '98".
    • If you want to select Monza for your track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza".
    • Being specific helps us to update the lineup accurately and also helps avoid any confusion among the drivers.
  • Please be sure to list the HP and Weight (LBS) of any car you select.
  • For track selections, include the Preset Weather and the Time of the Day (e.g.: S01 Afternoon) or it will be set to default.
    • Available settings can be found under Time/Weather Settings, when creating an online Lobby, after selecting your track.

Car Selection Guidelines
See Section 3 of the SNAIL OLR, Policies and Guidelines.

Track Selection Guidelines
See Section 3.1 of the SNAIL OLR, Policies and Guidelines
.

1Hitting the "hard" limit causes the RPMs to "bounce" and reduces torque and speed.
2Hitting the "soft" limit ceases all acceleration potential. Meaning, you're not going to go any faster.

Hey guys, I know i am hosting d2 but I won’t be able to attend this weekend , something really bad happened :/

MAY 2025 STANDINGS

It seemed like it's been forever since I was able to participate in league racing. Smaller than typical grid in D1 with only 7 drivers. D2 did a little better with 9. Let's hope we get back to the double digit grids next weekend.

NIAGARA's PIC OF THE WEEK
SHARE_20250505_0514430.jpeg
Just a simple group shot of the D1 drivers (less @Kgffy) early on in the night's first race in the Volkswagen. @Worst_Driver's absence meant that a podium spot was made available and I actually managed to grab one. I did notice some cool license plates in Combo 1, (looking at you @Oshawa-Joe & @bublyman)

@Dragonwhisky - I offer a quick thought to MajorBlixem and his family. I don't believe I raced with him but it's nice to have this news shared to the Snail Community. Most of us never met face to face but we do spend quite a bit of time together so sharing news of the passing of one of our own is a testament of the great group we have here.

@Kryption-evo - Sorry to hear about the accident. Wishing you a quick recovery.

See you at the Car-Show

Thank you guys for the nice thoughts. My brother, Majorblixem, brought me into SimRacing in 2014 and shortly after, he pointed out that these SNAIL lads look like a good bunch of people. The journey at SNAIL was thoroughly enjoyed and both of us made a few actual friends and a lot of virtual friends. It's nice to see some of the "originals" still active. Life is short. Enjoy every moment!

What was his fav cars (16 if you know that many) and track? I can set up an awesome tribute race for him that would be more of a memory tribute than a competetive race , like a victory lap formation race
