(Edited) Look carefully at the map and go the short straight between Arnage and Porsche Curves to line up for qually. It will save some time and will leave you enough time to warm up your tires. The host should make his way there too . If a non-member enters the track, the host and Div manager needs to make a decision to complete qually or delay (if the non-member has to be kicked....).

Fun fact: The last time Sarthe no chicane was used was 9/10/17 with a Pagani. I didn’t look to see when the Haitian kitty was used.
@RacingOtaku86 Hell has frozen over. I picked Sarthe [drag strip], no chicane. Catch up on some reading if you find no one with which to draft. Do you feel the bliss? :cheers:
 
My current work schedule and upcoming vacation is still preventing me from joining back in on Sumdays main event in the best online racing league around. In the mean time I'm still practicing and hoping to come back soon. I won't be rusty this time back. I hope anyways.

I was moaning a while back about tracks with long straights and no rhythm. You made a comment that it’s all racing and just embrace (paraphrasing).
 
I think it was @SAMHAIN85 yesterday in the party who mentioned he uses an H-pattern shifter. I've been thinking about getting one, it would help in the NXXX cars I think. Can the people here that use one share their experience? Do you use it with the clutch pedal or do you use auto clutch? Any other considerations?

If you are going to move to an H Pattern, you will want to use the clutch pedal as that is where the advantage in manual shifting is found. The auto clutch in game is very slow, so you can pick up non-insignificant amounts of time with full manual shifting.
 
It definitely helps to clutch shift from the standing start. I used that with the MX-5 at Miyabi and made up many places before Turn 1. After that I switched to the paddles as downshifting is not reliable.
