On a side note; I was working as assistant track manager yesterday for a lapping day run by some privateer club. Lambo's, ferrari's, mclaren's, the type of cars people with too much money and absolutely no sense of drivink skill or track etiquette would buy. On two separate occasions we had people stop and go reverse course. By far the most atrocious bunch of drivers I've seen on track. The day ended with some guy thinking he could brake later than his big 5.0L Mustang would let him, and ended up breaking two cement blocks and moved them a solid 4 feet from where they originally sat...

So I guess what I'm trying to say is if you ever choose to do a lapping day, make sure you pay attention at the drivers meeting and familiarize yourself with where the track goes and how the flags work.
Can you say "lawn chairs and a big cooler full of beer?" This would be so fun for a person like me, since I just can't afford a super-car to play with. I'd love to just watch with some friends and beer. My sarcasm would be on level 10 as I played race commentator.

My brother and his friend have experience. They had an investor when they move down to Virginia but he turned out to be a jerk with no money. The situation really ended badly

I love it. I just found these last night. On the main gtplanet page there are the Hot Topics on the right and there was one for classic car photos. I went through the whole thing for Facebook cover photos but only a few were in color and the right size. So many great photos though.

On another note, it's Saturday and the only SNAIL series is with Project Cars. I'm betting a lot of us don't have that. Anyone wanna race tonight? Let's try to quickly organize an event or two eh?

After 25 years of not winning a single match in the rugby world cup Japan finally reached a very admirable milestone. Well done Brave Blossoms.

Now off to watch MOTD before hitting the track later with my mango amigos

hahaha I was the same only because it was against the springboks but I always always like it when an underdog triumphs. I should not have been surprised as there's too much going on with the springboks, unnecessary in my opinion but hey I am not wearing the proverbial shoe.
Shame about the Canadians v the Irish though :D;)

The poor Canadians got slaughtered. England looked great yesterday, Brown put on a great performance.

I feel your pain Major but I have to say from a neutral's point of view it was an amazing match to watch and you have to applause the decision at the end to turn down the opportunity to take the easy option of the kick to draw the game. All is not lost though, remember France were shocked when they lost their first round match in RWC 2011 to Tonga and yet they made it through to the final and were unlucky not to be awarded a penalty towards the end which should have won them the cup.

Give credit where credit is due. Japan played well, with that kind of game they would have upset many teams. The Boks on the other hand looked in disarray right from kick-off.

Triple whammy for today.... Blue Jays lost... Canada lost...Springboks lost.

Time for a good scotch to help heal the wounds...

@JLBowler I will not be racing this weekend as I have a race today and will not be able to make it. Might make it next week. Looks like I'll be in the inactive side of D1 as I will only be racing 2 races if I can make it during school days (combo 3 race 1 and race 2).

You got any 1st person vid of your karting? I'd love to see if you do. I'm struggling to move up out of mid-pack in this rental series I'm doing.

@zer05ive I see we have no PS3 GT6 series on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Saturday. Since the Project Cars races are official and now only on Tuesday and Wednesday, can we make an official PS3 GT6 series for Saturday? If not and its unofficial, can we still make separate threads since we have our own dedicated SNAIL forum?

Just curious what the protocol is for starting a new series. @FlipJ is busy so I may start on my own.
