Announcement regarding Sunday night schedule.​

At the suggestion of @Rednose58 and approved by all members of the SNAIL board of directors, this weeks qualifying will be set to 5 minutes in length for all combos. Rednose58 will, if he hasn't already, be updating the schedule grid with the correct information.

At present time, this is only a change for this week. It is, however, something that could be considered for future use.

That's great quicker through the night. How ever might I suggest using both 5 and 6 minutes depending on the average lap time.

I say 5 min. qually all the time. Only need one hot lap for qualification is what I'd say.
 
Yay drunk buddies! I was out giving some friends a send off since they're moving to Austin, TX soon. And they actually got engaged this morning!

I guess Mrs Birdy still hasn't come to her senses yet...eh! :lol:

And now, for a look at those silly, danger-free, Karts. Not talking about the back-yard varieties ....... those are absent of any logical thought as to consequences. Hmmmm, of course Racing small machines without any protection for the driver seems to be missing the same.

 
@Die_Birdy_Die Did you really just nonchalantly announce that you got married or you were just drunk and talking about the lady you are going to marry?

If it's the former, then huge congratulations to you and your new wife! I wish you all the best in everything you encounter together.

Cannot allow my wife to see that!

My back is a little tight from karting yesterday. I didn't have any incidents so I think it's due to compression that occurs come down off the kerbs at speed. There was one spot in particular that I was nipping at full speed and the landing was fairly jolting.

Points will be updated tomorrow to reflect any penalties from last week.

Any new driver who submitted a time trial will get their placement message tomorrow morning PT.

I am lighting up a cigar and pouring a beer, and then another beer, and another... you get the picture. It's been a long day and if I missed anything, I'll take care of it before racing tomorrow.
 
Well....it's official. My PS3 has departed this life and is on his way to heaven! :(
