@JLBowler , Sir, I'm wondering who took over @Dragonwhisky 's duty as Chief Steward in SNAIL, because there were some postings saying that the SNAIL Steward review sheet isn't working, there's a deadline for posting IRs and no way to see who did what f. ex. self IRing , is there somebody working on that issue?

Nobody took over as chief steward. It will be done by committee going forward.

As for the sheet. Our resident spreadsheet guru is going to begin working on something that will make the whole process run much more smoothly.

For the time being, if you saw something that needs to be reported, report it. If it's already been reported then the stewards can just go through the list and remove the duplicates.
 
So I looked into the muscle car thing and they are a joke. The best one is the Corvette Coupe (C2) '63 because it's top speed is 162mph. I didn't hit the rev limited at Route X and it kinda stayed steady at 162. The next best are the Shelby GT350, Chevy Nova SS, Corvette Stingray Convertible (C3) '69 with 138mph. The C2 Corvette is a 3-speed though. Could be fun. The Shelby GT350 is great because it's got 5 gears and is very light. It goes to 139mph but getting there is more fun in the Shelby.

Where did you upload them to? I can't find them in the public folder anywhere.

I can see that they are there but that isn't the folder that we use. I have no idea who the owner, Robert S., of that folder is and I am not able to move anything from that folder over to the stewards folder.

This is the folder that we have been using for quite a while now as the SNAIL public replay folder.

I find it an interesting challenge, but I am waaaay off the pace considering my typical level of competitiveness. If anybody here is fairly fast on a DS3, I'd love some tips. I just don't get it.

It was an awesome night for Canada in D6, 1-2-3 overall. MBRacer, me and Mark420 were unstopable. Way to go guys, large double double on the way eh..

I was half a second to 1 second off pace, finishing 6 to 8 seconds behind the leader in D5. Not sure how much was the DS3 and how much was just me not being much of a circle-track driver.

Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @pakicote wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 3 - Stielow Engineering Red Devil (Racing: Hard) at Twin Ring Motegi Superspeedway (20 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @JLBowler gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @Jaguara so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to select the Amuse Superlegara for your car, post "Amuse Nismo 380 RS Superlagara". If you want to select Monza for a track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". This makes it much easier for the lineup to be updated accurately and also prevents confusing other league members as to which car or track you are selecting. Also, please be sure to list the PP and HP (after oil change) of any car you select.

Car Selection Guidelines
Dealership Cars - The maximum price for a selected car is now $1,000,000
DLC Cars - Only DLC cars that are FREE and currently still available in the PlayStation Store can be selected.

Track Selection Guidelines
Any non-DLC track can be selected as long as a single lap with the car combo'd with it would not take more than five minutes to complete. For example, don't select anything that includes the Nurburgring's Nordschleife.

@JLBowler My screen froze right at the last lap on Round 3, Race 1 right at the last lap so i wasn't able to save that replay. The Backup Replay uploader has that replay. I was able to save all the others. Since i am uploading just 5 replays, what do i need to name the zip folder?

Sorry, but not seeing that last replay was ever uploaded. Let me know if it was, but just in a place that is not the norm. If it was uploaded in time, we can adjust the prizes accordingly. However, I'm just not seeing it anywhere. :(

@Gavin Edde is the backup replay uploader. I wasn't able to upload all 6 because my screen froze right at the last lap of Round 3, Race 1. I thought he was going to upload the last replay.
