Earlier today I had the pleasure of racing with a couple of very fasr guy's!
I would like to think I made them chase gold!

they won!

My fastest lap is 10th overall of teams fastest laps.

So, just to clarify... Mark put down the 10th fastest lap of the day out of 50-ish teams. So it begs the next question... how many drivers per team? min 2, probably 3+? So... 10th quickest out of maybe 150 individual competitors? How's about some love for a fellow SNAIL! Go get 'em tomorrow bud!

A Like just isn't enough.

Go get 'em Krueger Tuned Racing North!!!

Thanks again everyone. If you like Krueger Tuned Racing on Facebook, you'll get more up to date information. Have a slave cylinder issue were dealing with, but we're running some good laps now with a temporary fix.

My brother, Chuck is in the car now. Don will be next and them me. I should be in from around 11:30 to 1:15 Eastern.

I'm at Varennes-sur-Allier for the France Cup in Rotax Junior right now. Out of 83 drivers I managed to enter the prefinal, and after a 1st corner crash dropping me to 25th, I managed to climb back to 16th. (Ang Alvis)

My Final race will be at 10 AM EST at http://www.savoiechrono.com/index.php

Good job @CoachMK21

I guess I never updated my rental season after this past Friday. This week I qualified 7th, finished the pre-final in 2nd, then the Final in 3rd. That was a pretty good showing since I wasn't the quickest guy there like last week. This week there were two that were legitimately better. I can't wait to start my own program though, where the kart's fit is tailored.

Round 1- Q:3rd, PF:5th, F:5th
Round 2- Q:5th, PF:7th, F: 5th
Round 3- Q:3rd, PF:1st, F:1st
Round 4- Q:7th, PF:2nd, F:3rd

Average finish of 3.6 out of an average headcount of 11. One drop and the final round is this Friday. I have no idea how the points work out, but I think I'm the only guy who will have attended all 5 races. Maybe a couple who've done 3/4 so far.

Lol, since this category is full of crazy drivers, I got hit out by turn 1.

EDIT: I'm not the most dissapointed, a guy started further behind, got 3rd, and then got disqualified.

and the fields you race in are like a mile long. That's some crazy traffic, pressure everywhere all the time. The largest field I saw at the club race on Sunday (went to spectate) was 15. That's the class I plan to build a kart to. Senior Yamaha pipe, 100cc.

I couldn't find the digital version of the heat results, but it was 1 and a half page long in small font  It's the 2nd biggest race in France, and we were 83 so to participate we had to do "heats".

Explanation:
After the time trial, we have 5 groups: A, B, C, D, E
The 1st will be in group A, 2nd in group B..., and 6th will be 2nd of group A, 7th will be 2nd of group B. So how it works is the letter you're in determines whether you start from the inside or outside. If A is against B, The people in group A will be in the interior and B in the exterior. Every group will fight each other (so in total each group will have 4 heats)
If you finish 1st in a heat, you get 0 points, 2nd is 2 points, 3rd is 3 points, etc...
36 is the max capacity of drivers in the prefinal, so with the points accumulated, we get the 36 finalists.

Now that's where pressure really builds up. Imagine all the best of each group together. Top 10 were all driving at the same lap time. Every lap. Imagine. EVERY. LAP. It's a good experience for me this weekend, though I finished practically last due to bad luck at the start. It gives me more experience for next year. What's positive is that I finished 5th in the rain. We race in the rain with slick tyres, it's crazy but really challenging, especially with a kart that goes at 120KPH in the dry.

At the local spot they call for rain tires for the conditions if they feel it's necessary. From what I read I think it may be mandatory and they try hard to give everybody at least 2 heats notice so they can get their gear switched over. This past Friday, it was beginning to drizzle just a tad and it had gotten quite chilly by the time the Final came around. Big difference in grip in 1.5 hours. Aside from the top 3, most everybody got slower as it got colder. I'm happy that I was able to maintain my pace even though the balance was dramatically different. I wasn't too thrilled with myself for a warning I received though. I accidentally pinched somebody off at the exit of T1 attempting a pass. It wasn't intentional of course, but I simply misjudged my line and didn't allow him enough room. At least that's what I THINK i got black flagged for. At any rate, I was able to make the same move later on the last lap cleanly so that was cool. One thing I've been pretty thrilled with is in 8 races, I've not put the kart off track. Any positions I've lost were simply because somebody else was better. I'm ok with that... for now. :)

We had 15 millimeters of rain (means a lot for some reason, drizzles are 0.3mm). No matter what, there isn't a red flag, no rain tyres either. During the formation lap I saw 4 people skid out, in front of me. It was really chaotic, we couldn't see further than 10 meters in front of us.

Ya it looks as though your PC should run it just fine. That's odd.
I think (...and hope...) I found a solution, although I don't know exactly what the problem was, or is. Last night I decided to start PCars through the Steam Network and not through the Logitec steering wheel profile. If I think back, the problems started when I created a PCars profile in the Logitec controller software. So, hopefully the freeze is "thawed"

I'll be heading back out on track in about 15 minutes for an hour stint. We had to modify our original plan due to using too much fuel. I guess that happens when you drive faster :)

Kill 'em with consistency! One more spot to the good!

*edit* and a new team PB! That's what I'm talkin about!

*edit 2* again! 2:10.505 Mark's gonna find 3 laps the ole fashioned way. 👍

I Saw that. 👍 Back to back.. Nice work @CoachMK21 !!

Edit:
Last 15 laps are about as consistent as you can get. 👍 If I am reading it correctly, they are gaining on the next position in their division? Quickly..!! Awesome driving Coach!

Promotion and relegation is completed and the drivers list has been updated. Please check the list for spelling errors and any omissions. You will notice we have moved to 6 divisions for this season. Don't be the guy that doesn't check the list and shows up in the wrong place tonight.

Division managers will need to start new divisional threads for the October season. I will be locking the September threads in the very near future.

WOW, D6 is going to be loaded! I'm guessing it's most likely going to be a prize A for them every night, 10 of the guys cant even join the server it's so packed!

If you dig a little deeper, you would find that only 15 of those guys, between the full and part time, raced at all last month and there is one new driver in there. Some drivers would have to come out of the woodwork to overflow the room.
