A little video from tonights races where myself and @lllTrick dueled it out at High Speed Ring going back and fourth to the end. Hope you all enjoy! 👍

That was a lot of fun bumper to bumper the whole race! The reason I"m sure we all race in the first place. Thanks for that F7sher. Very cool indeed. It was too bad I had the DC in the second race it was shaping up to be round 2.

Clearly, your purchasing decisions are questionable. :) J/k
@Die_Birdy_Die is just afraid of my (soon to be) Legen.. wait for it..dary Celica!
Seriously, come one come all - anybody who would like to join us. I think @racingchamp30 smentioned he may like to join. I'll probably be fielding my modified '77 Celica, an MR2 and maybe a '11ish STI.
Thanks to @Lessen for getting this moving. 9PM tonight.

Hey guys, @GTLehman , @Whitey093 & myself are going to do some AutoX style lapping tonight around 9:00 in GT6 representations of our dairly drivers/past DD's. All are welcome to join us with your real cars only please :) 👍
Was wondering :odd:
If I own this

Can I bring this?

Sounds fun I think I'll come as well. What are the car limits ?

None really. It will be an open tune room. Not so much for "tuning", but to be able to adjust in-game cars closer to the driver's actual car.

Nothing super serious here. Just something different.

I think we do want everybody on a realistic tire though. If your DD is sitting on all-seasons, CS would be appropriate. Summer only tires would yield SH. Something like that.

It's kind of freestyle. I've got a '77 'Suber Celica which I just threw all sorts of money at, then a stock Celica and a stock MR2. None of them are really tuned, but if we keep this up I will probably start doing more to them - not much time to day. Just run what ya brung and hope ya brung enuf!

Im taking it as a relaxed car show vibe and not trying to compete with anyone. Im just looking to see what my current and previous cars can do as accurately and realistically as possible so mostly stock. Most tuning options in gran turismo are not real and the ones that are give way too much benefit compared to real life. Also the weight and weight distributions on american cars are horrifically incorrect and the stock trans settings and rear end ratios reflect automatics so are pathetic compared to what comes with a proper manual. Doing my research to get my cars right and then trying to fix them has been more work than expected.

'91 S10
'90 civic DX hatchback

I do have a bigger and newer D16Z6 with an Si trans waiting to go in the civic, along with a cage, belts, seat, and fire suppression system... So basically it's going to evolve from a daily to a racecar in a few months. After that I'll be in the market for an NA miata that will end up having the same fate as my Honda and end up as a spec miata

Hey guys can I play this game?
Ok let's see if I can remember them all and in the right order.
88 Ford Escort Pony
88 Ford Escort Pony
87 S10 Durango
88 Escort Pony
85 Chrysler 300
88 Mercury Cougar XR-7
85 Mazda RX-7 GSL
89 Chevy 2500 Pick Up
03 Ford Escort
97 Jeep Cherokee Sport
96 Dodge Neon
85 Saab 3000
03 Ford Taurus
85 Mazda RX-7 GS
97 Land Rover Discovery II
01 Chrysler Crossfire
96 Subaru Impreza wagon (my name sake mobile)
97Jeep Cherokee Sport
87 VW GTI
01 Audi TT
06 Mazda 3
14 Ford Explorer
97 Mercury Cougar XR7 Special Edition

I know I missed a couple in that list. Still driving the Explorer and Mazda 3 daily. Also have the RX 7 and the Cougar. Both need repair before getting back on the road. The Rx7 I am likely selling however.
The Cougar though... That is my pride! I recently bought it from my Grandmother. She has owned it since new. It was if not the last, then among the very last of the MN12 chassis the last of the Special Edition cars and specially plated for my Grandmother on the assembly line. Its only got 8500 miles on it. Sadly though, it's got 8500 miles on it. so brake lines, rad, water pump, thermostat and a bunch if other naggles need replacing. Not to mention paint. Thanks for giving me a chance to talk about it everyone, I freaking love this car. Got some tasteful mods planned for its future, but nothing original is getting modded. I'll post a pics in a bit.

The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 1 - Spoon S2000 '00 (Sports: Hard) at Tsukuba Circuit (11 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @MajorBlixem wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - Audi R8 5.2 FSI quattro Chrome Line (Sports: Soft) at High Speed Ring / Reverse (10 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @Whitey093 gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @Ph1sher so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to select the Amuse Superlegara for your car, post "Amuse Nismo 380 RS Superlagara". If you want to select Monza for a track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". This makes it much easier for the lineup to be updated accurately and also prevents confusing other league members as to which car or track you are selecting. Also, please be sure to list the PP and HP (after oil change) of any car you select.
