I won't be around this Sunday as I'm driving down to Williamsburg, Virginia to visit my brother for my 26th's birthday.

That's where I'm from! Yorktown really, but Billyburg is right next door.

I like the classics...

Thanks @JLBowler for clarification on track boundaries. To serve as a reference point as you add more courses and boundaries associated with them, can I suggest adding this to the FUD? It would be helpful to have images to represent the locations as well, so there are no misunderstandings. I can help with this if you think it would be meaningful. That way we won't have to repeat ourselves when we revisit these courses.

I already added the link to the FUD and pictures could be in the works for anything that isn't easily explained. I attempted to do a series of posts a while back that took the three tracks each week and explained the boundaries and had pictures but I found if to be quite time consuming and I was repeating myself and taking the same kinds of pictures all too often.

I must publicly commend @redsoxboy80 . Round 2, Race 1, last lap, in first place, goes OOB between the last 2 turns, pulls off the racing line on the final straight and gives up 1st to @Nicktune. In and of itself, that is the epitome of sportsmanship and what the SNAIL stewards love to see. and some $hells headed your way.

OK... so they're under 2 min... will I get lapped twice in this race? Ouch!

Off to the wife-mandated financial planning meeting.

I'm hoping to point out to her we're good at saving and I can get a 'fun' car... :gtpflag:

That's what we named my car!

Though my wife also goes with 'baby' and 'your other woman' but, thankfully, with a smile.

It took 2.5 years but you finally got it. And a very nice one at that. Congratulations.

All the info you need is posted up above. Cars required, PP and HP they should be at and tires used. These guys are on the ball for getting this stuff posted in an appropriate amount of time, so don't worry @GTD_druid.

If you can't find it hiding in all the posts in our thread, all the info is also in the second post on the very first page of this thread. If you click on the post number on the right side beside the "Report" link, you can copy the address down that you'll get in the popup box, and bookmark it for easy access to what you'll need to race for the week! :D

Red room FULL

I disco'd, have fun guys.

Personal note: practice means you are trying to prepare for how you will act, and react, to a situation. Practice what you want to actually accomplish - a clean pass, gaining ground, even (say wha? Cough on your own choice of fumes - car fumes, perfumes, etc.), yes, even practice racecraft.

Practicing any skill can help make it 'automatic' - if a driver needs to learn to make an illegal contact concession, consider practicing that...

Just a reminder that all new drivers will be getting their placement messages tomorrow and the new drivers list with promotion and relegation will be posted at that time as well.
