Very nice I'm liking the aston looks like that took some time

Thanks. I guess I just had to be home to view it. Phone wasn't displaying all the tabs and whatnot.

The page viewer on a phone is terrible. I exclusively use desktop display on my phone and it still only shows tiny portions and I have to scroll round a lot. It's not you.

My G29 brake pedal was a little "lazy" so I brought out the G27 pedal set and put the G29 in the garage for future investigation. Well, it seems I was a little hard on the brakes. Could you call it "Spring Break"?

I looked at the pricing for the GTEYE and it looks to be around $30. Not sure if $Canadian, $Aussie or $Murican, but that is a bit steep. Now looking to see if I can get something local.

Anybody know the spring rate of the std G29 brake spring? It looks like a 20 pound dumbbell is pushing it down about an inch. If that is close I'm thinking to look for a ~35 pound/inch spring and throw that little rubber piece out or cut the rubber in half. (Who thought of a silly idea to put a bump stop in you brake spring.....)

I'm happy the little SFR is staying the car is good to drive and gives up better competition without the risk of constant contact because people are fighting the car, there's more focus on speed and lines than anything else.

At first I was worried about the red bull riding because if run off use but that shouldn't be an issue here I hope it's basically ruined in online play

I have been looking around for info on the spring rate but to no avail. What I can tell you is that the first thing I ever did with my brake pedal was take that rubber piece out and it's been a massive improvement. GTEYE is a bit pricey but the bundles they have bring the individual pedal cost down a little. All of their prices are in Australian dollars. The three pedal set for $69.95 would be $65.65 Canadian Dollars

LOL sorry about that. I just felt that Blue Moon would be to boring for me personally, and i just got done driving a Lambo in the endurance series last night. i really like the bmw though

That sounded best to me too lol, which is why I waited to see if you'd pick it.

I'll be testing in a couple hours.

Tsukuba is too low speed and it was understeering like a pig.

Honestly I think that car would be a blast on nurburgring

The GTEye brake spring is worth it. I might still have a Nixim Mod spring kicking around if you want to try it. Probably close to what you already have. Soft initially and then very hard. It uses the rubber stopper thing.

@Rednose58

That's hardcore man. Ha! I actually broke the elastomer damper in my Fanny pedals some time ago. I've since recalibrated and conditioning myself to use less maximum power for maximum brake. I think it's actually helping me become a little faster as well.

Look into the NIXIM brake mod. It gives the brake a much better feel.
