The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 1 - CITROëN GT BY CITROëN GR.4 (SS) at Blue Moon Bay Speedway - Infield A - 10:30 Clear (9 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @socalnatv wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - BMW VISION GRAN TURISMO (RH) at Circuit de Sainte-Croix - B - 15:10 Fine Weather (5 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @JamCar0ne gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @Nicktune so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to choose the Integra Type R as your car selection, post "Honda Integra Type R (DC2) '98". If you want to select Monza for your track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". Being specific helps us to update the lineup accurately and also helps avoid any confusion among the drivers. Also, please be sure to list the HP and Weight (LBS) of any car you select. For track selections, include the time of day (e.g: 09:00 Clear) or else it will be left to default.

Currently tracking 8 Incident Reports​
We have at least one prize winner with a racing incident being investigated by the stewards. This may, obviously, change the order of the prizes to be selected. All winners are asked to refrain from making selections until the Weekly Steward's report has been posted.
The target deadline for the Steward Reviews, this week, is Wednesday night by 10PM Eastern. The Steward Summary will be posted as soon as possible, following completion of reviews.

While we expect there to be minor incidental contact during practice due to inexperience with the car and / or track, SNAIL does not tolerate intentional contact with another driver at any time.

If this type of behavior is observed at any time in an official SNAIL event, please save the replay and notify the BoD via private conversation so that it can be investigated and the offending party dealt with accordingly.

Before anyone says anything about discussing on track incidents in the thread, no driver is named here. This is a general announcement about something that happened and how it should be dealt with if it is observed again.

I was always kind of hoping to make it to Division one, and even though I know my time is very limited here, I just had to post a pic of my very first Division 1 Victory on Round one / race two. I think I started fourth and worked hard to get to P1, and I don't remember ever feeling that much pressure from behind before, Lol.
Anyway, it was a lot of fun last night.....Thanks fellas!

Please correct me if that's not true.

If all goes well tomorrow, I will open a room for combo testing tomorrow night around 6:00 PST.

That is correct. It's usually the week after the update that new cars and tracks are available for selection. The exception is when there is an issue with the car like the super formula cars when they were added.
 
Steward Prize Update​

The stewards have completed enough reviews to confirm this week's prize winners.

@racingchamp30 is our second prize winner and he is now on the clock to use or pass the freeze.
@Nicktune will have whichever option he doesn't choose. If @Nicktune ends up with ends up with the freeze, that choice will go to the drivers of D1 that raced and instructions will be given in this thread for voting.

Warning: This is a challenging combo. Execute patience!

My review of 5 incidents are complete.

@Nicktune you're on the clock to choose a car. As practice is tonight, you will at least need to let us know that you're working on something and will have a choice made in time for practice. If you haven't done this by 2PM ET today, we will begin to take suggestions from D1 for the car followed by a quick vote from everyone that raced this week.

Can anybody give me a mid div lap time for this one please? On paper it should do a bit better than the Beemer. Maybe around 2:05.xxx for 5 laps?
