Yes please 😁Haha I want this, maybe I can challenge u.
Can't say I have, what're you upgrading from? Would love to know how comfy the new rig is if you end up going with it.I've come to the conclusion that I am going to have to change to a sim rig that reclines if I want to continue racing. My sciatica flares up too much with my current set up. Anyone have any dealings with Trak Racer? Specifically, this rig?
Maybe you can begin with a recliner seat instead of a bucket. much more confortable for a long period of racing. And much cheaper than a whole new rig. Here's my current rig, but I've added an H-pattern shifter and clutch pedal.
In 2020, during the height of COVID I bought Trak Racers TR8 rig. It's very rigid, with no flex and I tend to yard on my wheel quite a bit. The pedal plate is solid with my load cell turned up to Hi, which I think might be approaching 100 lbs of pedal pressure. It is a much more GT style upright sitting position. I've had to modify things so it would fit me, I'm 5'6" (so much for metric CanadaI've come to the conclusion that I am going to have to change to a sim rig that reclines if I want to continue racing. Thanks for the feedback Cano. I ended up ordering a Playseat Formula Instinct because of the price point. The downside to the Playseat is it doesn't have a native gear shift mount, but I'm pretty handy and creative, so I'm sure I can make one.In 2020, during the height of COVID I bought Trak Racers TR8 rig. I'm very pleased with the build quality and the looks of the rig. Being in Canada, buying American at that time had its challenges, but none of it related to the rig itself. All good.
Prize A: I'm open to suggestions from everyone until tomorrow, Wednesday @ noon.
Unfortunately, there's a fair chance I won't be able to race this sunday, so here goes prize A. Wild combos and originality are encouraged, most notably regular traffic carsSuggest away !

Prize A: Citroen BX 19 TRS '87 @ Eiger Nordwand Reverse. S05 Early Morning.
Mid div lap time: 1:26
Back up car: DS Automobiles DS 3 Racing '11.
Mid div lap time back up: 1:20.
@TexHill I took inspiration from your suggestion, I hope you won't mind the changes. Thanks for submitting !
The old Citroen is faster than I expected for a 103 hp car. It's a feather weight at 2194 lbs and handles pretty good for a regular traffic car. VR users will appreciate the great visibility from the cockpit view.
Fun fact: The Citroen DS and the weird sub brand DS Automobiles in GT7 refers to the french word ''Déesse'' which translates to Goddess in english.
Yes, SNAIL tires are CS for both cars. What tires did you use? CS?
Jumping in here as I've just purchased this: https://6sigmasimracing.com/en-ca/c...-80-sim-racing-cockpit?variant=47692227084534 with the GTR bucket seat. Like you, my back aches like crazy if I'm not in a reclined position. Unfortunately because of this, I'm returning the seat tomorrow and will be looking at their reclining RS seat once I get the other refunded. The rig itself is really sturdy and I'm really happy with it. Just need to find a seat that works. Six Sigma seems to be the best deal for the dollar on these types of rigs I can find.I've come to the conclusion that I am going to have to change to a sim rig that reclines if I want to continue racing.
