Thanks @Oshawa-Joe @TexHill this is a big moment for me! Unfortunately, I have to take off for NC for a few days and won't be able to race tonight. @JamCar0ne can you get the manager and data entry duties covered for d2, please? Any one from d2 ready to step up for one of these spots? Not sure how long I'll be in d1 but I will be trying best to stick with it.

Just a few tips on the returning combo. I grasped how to make this car turn during the 2nd race last sunday.
  1. Trailbraking - Short. The car doesn't like braking and turning.
  2. Long coasting period. The car has fantastic rotation while coasting. !!!! This is the OP part right here !!!!
  3. You can also get good rotation by smashing the throttle on accel. You need to get number 2 working first. If you do it too early you'll get understeer instead of oversteer.
Also, don't overshoot the braking zone. I do it a few times here. Still shaved like 1.6 sec. Focus on the coasting.

I see the scores for D2 are not in. Im going to quickly review the replays and do the scores. When Todd gives me the screen shots for results I can do data for D2

It has come to the attention of the SNAIL BoD, a situation occurred in D2 last night that is intolerable. Cars were used outside of SNAIL Specifications. Those drivers have been disqualified from the rounds those cars were used and finish positions for all other drivers adjusted accordingly. The relevant sections of the SNAIL OLR, Policies and Guidelines are quoted below.

C: You are expected to compete in a fair and honest manner and in accordance with the SNAIL OLR as well as SNAIL policies and guidelines.

D: You are expected to drive responsibly in a way that’s not likely to ruin the racing enjoyment of your fellow drivers.

Tuning Prohibited in SNAIL means that you are not allowed to do anything to the car that changes it's performance in any way, shape, or form.

Below is a list of what you are required, and allowed, to change:
  • Required;
    1. Install tires according to the SNAIL Tire Specification Table.
  • Allowed;
    1. Install Custom Wheels - Must retain stock size, width and offset.
      • BoP will not compensate for any PP changes adjustments to size, width and offset affect and may prevent you from entering a PP limited lobby.
    2. Change the appearance of the car using the livery editor.
      • While BoP will negate settings of most, if not all, installed custom parts, the [Spec] part of SNAIL Sunday demands all cars function, and appear, identical, with the exception of paint jobs and wheels.
      • It has been noted, custom liveries, applied from community resources, may install custom parts that will prevent your car from adhering to SNAIL regulations. In that event, it is the driver's responsibility to remove those parts and, at all times (during Sunday race night and practice sessions for), ensure their car will meet the [Spec] standard.
    3. Maintenance items, i.e. oil change, chassis restore, engine restore, can be performed, as they only return the car to original spec.
You may not adjust any other settings or replace/upgrade any other part of the car. If what you are thinking about installing to your car is not in the above list, don't do it. Only the items listed above are allowed under SNAIL [Spec] Racing rules.

The penalty for non-compliance with the above rules is disqualification and removal of all points accrued for both races with that car.

The most relevant section regards Tuning Prohibited.
