Pretty bummed, @CdnSweetTee and I were all set up to race last evening and couldnt enter any lobbies. Not sure if it is our network or what, but will be trying tonight.
Anyone experienced this lately
Bublyman's lobbys have always been very stable. Did you try the recommended weekly network maintenance beforehand?

Does your gt7 connection test look something like this?

Yes, well…..not quite, the top of mine dips slightly and doesn’t make it all the way to the the top, but this had nothing to do with Bubbly’s lobby or connection, it was most certainly on our end. We could not enter ANY lobbies.

Could have been a server issue isolated to your area? Can you get into a lobby today?

Division 1
  1. GTP_Worstdriver --- voted to eliminate Round 3
  2. Nic-KL ------------ voted to eliminate Round 2
  3. Ridger23 ---------- voted to eliminate Round 2
  4. Oshawa-Joe -------- voted to eliminate Round 2
  5. Dragonwhisky ------ voted to eliminate Round 3
  6. HURB_OSS_117_ ----- voted to eliminate Round 2 - Prize A
  7. DRD_Niagara ------- voted to eliminate Round 1 - Prize C
  8. Kgffty ------------ voted to eliminate Round 3
  9. Skills_19657 ------ did not submit a vote
Division 2
  1. JamCar0ne --------- voted to eliminate Round 2 - Prize B
  2. RacingChamp30 ----- voted to eliminate Round 3
  3. Canoworms1 -------- voted to eliminate Round 1
The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - Jaguar F-type R '14 (SM) at Autodrome Lago Maggiore - West - S03 Early Morning (10 laps)
Therefore, the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. @hurbinator wins Prize A, and gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 3 - Porsche 911GT3 R (992) '22 (RM) at Grand Valley Highway 1 - S02 Sunset (8 laps)
This means either the car or track will be replaced for next week's line-up. @JamCar0ne is the Prize B winner and they have the option to freeze the car or the track, or they can give that option to the Prize C winner. If they give the freeze away, they get to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @DRD_Niagara - they get whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it's confirmed you don't have any penalties.
  • It is recommended you visit SNAIL combo history, along with other data on our car and track history, to review how many times we've raced each car and/or track.
  • Please remember, originality is always appreciated. Although not required, picking cars and tracks we've never raced is a plus.
  • What's more important is, you thoroughly test any combo you are considering, before making it your official selection.
    • For example, any car you select must not hit its rev limiter, either hard1 or soft2, at any point during a race, even in the draft.

IMPORTANT:
  • When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting.
    • For example, if you want to choose the Integra Type R as your car selection, post "Honda Integra Type R (DC2) '98".
    • If you want to select Monza for your track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza".
    • Being specific helps us to update the lineup accurately and also helps avoid any confusion among the drivers.
  • Please be sure to list the HP and Weight (LBS) of any car you select.
  • For track selections, include the Preset Weather and the Time of the Day (e.g.: S01 Afternoon) or it will be set to default.
    • Available settings can be found under Time/Weather Settings, when creating an online Lobby, after selecting your track.

Car Selection Guidelines
See Section 3 of the SNAIL OLR, Policies and Guidelines.

Track Selection Guidelines
See Section 3.1 of the SNAIL OLR, Policies and Guidelines
.

1Hitting the "hard" limit causes the RPMs to "bounce" and reduces torque and speed.
2Hitting the "soft" limit ceases all acceleration potential. Meaning, you're not going to go any faster.

FEBRUARY 2026 - FINAL STANDINGS
1772562928015.webp

The 2026 February season is in the books.

In Division 1, @Nicktune captured 13 of 24 races and finishes in the top spot with a 13 point cushion over @bublyman. @Oshawa-Joe had a great month rounding up the top 3.

In Division 2, @JamCar0ne put on a show and is Snail's overall top point getter with 290. @racingchamp30 and @CANOWORMS1 finish 2nd and 3rd. It appears @JamCar0ne was rewarded with a trip to D1 for his efforts. Good luck putting up numbers like that in March.

Whether you raced 1 race night or all 4 race nights, Snail thanks you for your participation. See you in March.

I monitored the Snail section of the forum for quite some time before I actually joined and I recall periodically seeing a chart being posted that provide a tabulation of the points that drivers accumulated across all divisions. The last time I saw it posted was in early October of 2024.

Well, I'm bringing it back with perhaps some modifications. You'll be seeing this table monthly as we turn the calendar to a new season. It will log the total points a driver scores over 2026 and the colors will track driver movement between our divisions. No dropped scores, the more race the more points you accumulate.

Please sent me a message should you notice any errors.
(Do you realize that if we all show up regularly, we have a 3rd Division? How awesome would that be?)

Public Service Announcement to newer Snails

@DriftstarE / @CinnamonOD / @hurbinator / @ZoomZoomMf / @JakeMk8 / @Crunchy Taco / @Apomorphine / @arethosetacos / @CTwin / @OlegLocke

While I have the floor, I encourage new SNAILS take a few minutes to explore the different threads that can be found in Snail Racing League's section of this forum. The second you have logged a race with our group, your name gets etched into the annals of SNAIL's record keeping. There's massive spreadsheets that will show your race counts, points counts, podium counts and it's fun to see your name climb the ladder as you participate.

But by far my favorite, is the SNAIL Stats Web App, This cool little tool will allow you to pick your PSN ID or anybody else's and it will chart their points progress and all their stats on one page. It's worth a look at the link below...

These links, and more are all available in the "SNAIL Data - Current Season Summary - Live Feed" thread.

The last thing I'll say to our newer Snails is a reminder that this truly is a stress free environment. You win? Great. You finish dead last? Great - nobody cares. It's a clean league to get better and work on your race craft. And if you can't participate for all 6 races on a Sunday, you're still welcomed to race 2 or 3 if that's all the time you have. As a group, we'd rather have you part-time than no-time.

Hope to see as many of you as possible on Sunday.
-Niagara

Nice link, I didn’t know that one existed and it is very interesting indeed!
