This might be a really bad time and off topic question but does anyone know where I can get bullets for my AR-15. Can't seem to find any anywhere

Don't they just fire .223 cartridges? That's a hunting caliber and should be available anywhere hunting supplies are sold.

Maybe there's something deeper hidden in your question that I'm not picking up on, but…yeah…

I'm pretty sure mine fires .225 unless it changed. Pretty much everywhere I live by has been out of bullets in that caliber for the past month or two
 
Hey guys, sorry for the late notice but I will be unable to race tonight! Tonight has turned into a family night so no GT5 for me. Hope my fellow bros in D5 and everyone else have fun!

Alright. I keep bringing this back up because I keep doing less-than-thorough research…

Actually Coach was put into last place for the race and the points for those races were eliminated. I did not want to delete the driver completely because it would change the participation multiplier number, so that's how it was done.

The precedent, then…the rule, if you will, is that if you're in the wrong car you will be given last place, lose the pole position point if you get it, and lose all points for the race.

Hopefully that's all on that. Just don't drive the wrong car. Please!

I apologize to everyone in D5. I'm just tired to race tonight. Just got pack from 3 away games for hockey and I'm beat. I wasn't hitting my usual marks and wasn't 100%

Dillon Precision. Seriously good. I have the Square Deal and the RL550, a single stage Lyman for the Buff' Gun, and a modified progressive loader for 12 gauge blackpowder loads. I am getting another 550 for my boy to load his own without messing up my settings. :-). The 16 feet of workbench in the loading room is getting crowded.

Even if you start with a simple Lyman 4 station, it does not take long to save your bucks. Big time. Start saving your brass.

And unless you have some crazy AR, you can use the regular .223 Remington loads as well, typically 55 grain. Wolf has some cheap stuff if you are pinching costs.
 
Wow never seen this thread this silent after a race night. I'm guessing it's because the racing wasn't close at all with the last 2 combos. In D1 we had 2 of the closest races on combo 1 with me and Owens crossing the line .000 apart for the win (somehow it gave it to him:banghead:). Follow that up with 10 second gaps and people not even finishing. I'm not against driving combos like these but in my opinion those were the worst combos for promoting close racing. Hopefully they will go away for next week.
 
Thnx for the info guys and y'all are probably right about the bullet size, I'm a bit uninitiated with rifles as most of my shooting has been of the 12 guage sort

while i enjoyed the FGT, I want nothing to do with the Zonda....the Clio can stay as its at least predictable and fun to drive with others there..which yeah, is the only time others were there as well.

D4 did have some pack driving in the Zonda, but I found it much too much.. especially without some tuning.
 
Well, I'll put it this way…

It's much more fun to race alone in a car that's fast than to race alone in a slow one.

I had fun all night. I made a lot of small mistakes in all of the races which cost me the chance at the win. Apparently my concentration was shot after five, because I really screwed the proverbial pooch on the last race.

I do have to feel sorry for anyone still driving with the D-Pad (as I did until I got the wheel.) I wouldn't have had a chance with that thing in the Zonda or the FGT.
 
Wow, after a night of standing in the cold with a broken down car (not mine) and getting home after midnight, I'm surprised to see the results of last night's races and voting. How did the Clio get the most votes?

I know in D2 Bowler organized a mutiny and tried to get everyone to vote Clio. I voted FGT cuz I spun out at the start in both races. Another crappy night of racing for me in D2.

Maybe I can have some fun in the PP cap series tonight.

I can only imagine the challenge it will be for you to pass Wiifreak in his Mazda Carol Deluxe while you drive your Ruf 3400 at Daytona Road course? I imagine there top speeds will be about 100mph apart:)

That being said I think there will be a lot of fun racing.

There are 4 spots left people so do not be shy. Come to D2 and give it a try.
 
Wait...

Bowler, chooser of the Zonda, a handful of a vehicle that did not result in many close races, lobbies to get the only car that produced close racing, kicked? Was it close racing and cars in traffic that so many in D1 and D2 disliked?

This should be 'fun' I guess. :grouchy:

I have access to the spreadsheet from my former score keeping duties.

That mutiny didn't get too far with only two other supporters.
