The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 1 - Nissan 240ZG (HS30) '71 (Sport Hard tires) at Trial Mountain Circuit (6 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @nmcp1 wins Prize A, they get to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 3 - West Surrey Racing, 1983 Ayrton Senna (Race Hard tires) at Autodromo Nazionale Monza (5 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @Wolfsatz gets Prize B, he has the option to "freeze" the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the "freeze" away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @llNOVAII so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history or other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated,so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more importantis that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, no car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to select the Amuse Superlegara for your car, post "Amuse Nismo 380 RS Superlagara". If you want to select Monza for a track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". This makes it much easier for the lineup to be updated accurately and also prevents confusing other league members as to which car or track you are selecting. Also, please be sure to list the PP and HP (after oil change) of any car you select.

    Car Selection Guidelines
Dealership Cars - The maximum price for a selected car is now $1,000,000
DLC Cars - Only DLC cars that are FREE and currently still available in the PlayStation Store can be selected.

    Track Selection Guidelines
Any non-DLC track can be selected as long as a single lap with the car combo'd with it would not take more than five minutes to complete. For example, don't select anything that includes the Nurburgring's Nordschleife.

Congrats @nmcp1 - someday I hope to follow in those hallowed footsteps, amigo!

(Not likely to happen, especially with my connection woes of late, but a man can dream big, can't he?)

The drivers in D6 had many technical issues Sunday night. One of them was @McTrucker glitching out C1 R1 which made for some pretty good photo ops. Here are a few, among others taken from that race. Was a fun combo sad to see it go so soon.

Very Memorable Sunday Racing for me. Winning the night has been close so many times and at the wrong moment either I, equipment or disconnects have happened. Last night finally it all came together; Great Racing! Kept a cool head! and Just had a lot of fun! I'd like to congratulate @JJLopez427 because over the last few weeks he has not only improved his speed but his racecraft is sublime! Great Racing with ya!

No you don't. You see still pictures which don't even come close to telling the whole story about any incident. This is why I never understand it when a driver tries to take pictures and send them to stewards to plead their case.

Not trying to be super serious. I'm just pointing out that you can't make a determination about what happened on track from a single still picture. You have to have everything that happens just before and just after. Still pictures can be taken at just the right time to make a case for just about anything.

While you may have been just teasing, going OoB, in and of itself, is not a penalty. What the driver does while they're out there and how they get back on the racing surface is more important and where penalties get levied.

D2 formation flying. Don't look in the mirror @GamingPete . They're coming for you!

Actually, it wasn't quite that close in the end. The gap to @nmcp1 was 10 times larger than that at the end. A whole .422 of a second. I was under no pressure at all during that race! :scared:

The chase for Pole Position was a much tighter affair with nmcp just a James Bond'ish .007 of a second behind me. I was shaken but not stirred!

Speaking of nmcp, I am delighted he won Prize A this week and surprised to hear he hadn't managed to so before. He is as fast and consistent on track as his lightning responses to new member requests. On top of it all he is a complete gentleman and a pleasure to race against even though it is the rear of his car I'm usually looking at. A good example of this gentlemanly behaviour came towards the end of race 1 at Monza. On the last lap I managed to get a good run out of the Lesmo bends and caught and passed nmcp for 3rd place before Ascari. We both had a nice clean run through the chicane and on the run towards the final turn he closed in on me. I was thinking ahead that there was going to be an interesting run down to the finishing line but through the Parabolica I slightly lost the rear end and got into a slide. I managed to save it but obviously nmcp had to slow to avoid contact and as he was still behind me when I gathered it up I thought the fairest thing to do would be to slow and let him by. This I did, but he just stayed in behind me, backed off as much as I did and wouldn't pass. After the race he said it was my position. As I said, a gentleman.

I'll miss you when you move to D1. ;)

    Round 3 Race 1 : @intoflatlines 1:58.885
    Round 3 Race 2 : @intoflatlines 1:58.591

    Total Times/Wins:
    Round 1 Race 1 : @kadrek 10:48.706

    Round 2 Race 1 : @kadrek 11:32.235

    Round 3 Race 1 : @intoflatlines 10:08.379
    Round 3 Race 2 : @JLBowler 10:09.298

It was a fun night in D3, again with almost every driver getting a podium at least once. No connection or lag issues, and fun combos. Also, very clean racing overall, despite some misjudged braking zones by yours truly in the 2nd combo. @kadrek ran away with the night with two poles, two golds, and three fast laps. @socalnatv managed a 2nd place finish despite not getting a gold all night - just another example of how important it is to be consistent! We had a 3-way tie for 3rd place also, and the tiebreaker(s) went to @JLBowler and @SGETI, respectively.

Congrats to @kadrek for the unofficial win! And I am very glad that Combo 1 is gone! :)

Thanks to @nmcp1 for the nice layout!

Oh my goodness Nuno... I'm so happy for you buddy. Congrats and keep rolling hard. You're a hell of a racer.

The driver's list has been updated. All new drivers have received their placement message.

Please take a look at the list and check it for errors. Spelling and omission are the most common errors to be found.

Lunatic! I love how early he's back hard enough on the throttle in pic 3 to lift the wheel.

How did he not manage to high side that thing when the front tire bit.

conversation with llNovall initiated for prize selection.

And I'm sure his body under the bike added some unloading effect to the front end so it looks like it just slid instead of jabbing. I miss those days.

Madness! I reckon getting off the go juice woulda made it high side though.

That front tire angle in the first pic is just plain lunacy.
