Here are a couple of links that may help you, the first is a bit more complete as it has distance measurements for the components, but the second document has some good info in it as well.

I have tinkered a lot with different positions for my seat and the angle of my pedals. I like being close, but too close hurts and makes my knee super sore.
Changing the rake of my pedals to make them more vertical helped my knees a lot.

Also, my team Phoenix Seven Racing is sponsored directly by GTR Sim. If you ever have questions for them about your GTR GTA Rig, or if anyone else is interested in GTR Simulator products, I have direct contact with the top staff & access to my team’s 50% off brand ambassador discount.

Our deal With GTR will be up for renewal this fall and they have competition to be our main sponsor now. My team loves the way their logo looks on our liveries, so they have that going for them! Trak Racer have expressed some interest in a deal with PX7 for 2021.

looks grate, you need to add an additional screen, at least at the right side of the actual one.... i have been researching but im not sure how to do that

I did quite a lot of investigating on this and other related topics when I purchased my 49 inch Samsung 4K earlier this year.
Some background: With PS3 and GT6, triple monitor set up was possible, however it required three consoles. (I had two PS3 consoles and therefore could add the left or right screen. It worked extremely well.) PS4 and GTS don’t offer this three monitor option as far as I know. I’m not holding my breath until Sony gives us multiple monitor possibility with PS5. Who wants to buy 3 consoles anyway? That’s one of the reasons I chose to purchase a single [good quality] monitor. Also because I see myself going the VR route. I have the Sony VR and it has screen door effect due to low resolution (1080x960 per eye) but it’s still incredible. The new Nvidia RTX3080 GPU ($700) and Pimax 8k ($900) (actually 4k for each eye [3840x2160]) is the ultimate combination. Obviously, we are talking PC now. If you want to be sure of a sufficient frame rate (and save some bucks), opt for the Pimax 5k (2560x1440).

The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - MERCEDES-BENZ SLS AMG 2010 (RH) at Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit - 12:00 Fine Weather (7 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @MikeGrove wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 3 - RENAULT SPORT R.S.01 2016 (RH) at Autodromo Nazionale Monza - 20:30 Clear (9 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @racingchamp30 gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @Nicktune so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to choose the Integra Type R as your car selection, post "Honda Integra Type R (DC2) '98". If you want to select Monza for your track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". Being specific helps us to update the lineup accurately and also helps avoid any confusion among the drivers. Also, please be sure to list the HP and Weight (LBS) of any car you select. For track selections, include the time of day (e.g: 09:00 Clear) or else it will be left to default.

Three stunning overtakes during one trip down the mountain. Panorama brings the best racing out of me.

My new weekly Twitch series, where I take on all challengers 1 vs 1 in their favorite cars & tracks. Yesterday’s episode 2 was fantastic. My channel is growing quickly! During the next few weeks some big time YouTube stars may be stopping by to challenge me 1 on 1. Stay tuned.

Do you wear glasses? My eyes have different prescriptions for each eye and until i got contacts VR gave me a headache.

yes
But i weare the glasses while using VR
Consider getting contact lenses. Maybe you would also use them when karting. I started wearing glasses for minor distance vision correction but now I’m at that age that I also need them for reading. However, I find that I don’t need them for using VR. In fact, I have much better vision not using my glasses with the VR.

I know this is irrelevant to the glasses but is there an fix for double vision? It only happens when I'm driving and I don't want to cause an accident.

I chosen to freeze the car because when i was looking at past combo's, we used the Audi VGT 3 times in a row and only have used the Renault Sport just from last week. Monza been used more than once so figured the Renault can be taken to a track where it is alot of fun and competing at the same time like it was at Monza.

I have read the first post and would like to join. Found you through a link in a reddit discussion.

@FooleyCooley

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add zer05ive, JLBowler, nmcp1, Rednose58, MajorBlixem, SAMHAIN85 & llNovall as participants.

The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL

Today’s Nation’s Cup race at Spa had the LUCKIEST MOST EXCITING ending I have ever witnessed!

It is truly incredible that everyone avoided a collision penalty and I somehow took another big points podium! Check out that stunning final lap! Another consistent & professional drive during this amazing FIA season for my career.

FIA Nation's Cup Exhibition Season Rd. 4 - Spa - Dodge Viper Gr.3

@MikeGrove and @Nicktune

Both of you were given the all clear almost 48 hours ago. Both of you replied to the conversation for prize winners. With that being said, neither of you has made your choice yet. You both have until 1PM ET today to post your selections in this thread. Failure to do so will make you an absentee prize winner and your prizes will go over to a voting and suggestion process that will have to run very quickly. In addition to forfeiting your prizes this week, you will be deemed ineligible for prizes for the next 4 weeks that you race, possibly longer for repeat offenders.

Prize A Selection Post

Reason I chose this:

My current FIA season so far is the main reason I have chosen the Citroen Gr.3. After some incredible performances during my first few competitive drives with the car, I can honestly say I have never felt as comfortable in any of my other manufacturer’s cup brand choices. This season has been more successful and exciting than any other I have had before & I want to share with all of you the car that is making me look good! It is tricky to drive, but once you understand you must brake smoothly and downshift late, it becomes a pleasure to whip around at any circuit.

I chose Brands Hatch GP as the circuit because it holds a special place in my catalog of online racing memories. Below is a time stamped video to a race night in snail that I will never forget. Commentary by Erick GTR3123 and a fabulous battle for position with @pakicote. This was a division 3 race, believe it or not. It was a race where I truly felt fast & realized I can battle with confidence against the best if I try and never quit.

I hope you all enjoy the new combo and my flashback video from the GT6 days of Snail!

Nice car and track combo!

We have another non-responsive prize winner this week.

If you raced in D1 this week and are tagged below, you get to make a suggestion for Prize B (track) from which the rest of the membership that raced will vote upon.
  • Your suggestion must be made by posting in this thread.
  • You may not edit your post to change your suggestion.
  • Be sure to include the full in-game name of the track and time of day. Failure to include time of day will result in default being chosen.
  • The deadline to make a suggestion will be Thursday at 5 PM ET.
  • Remember that you are not voting for a suggestion that was already made. You are making your own suggestion.
  • Time of day with rain or wet track effects are not eligible for selection.
  • Please do not include photos or other extra text in your suggestion as it just has to be deleted when the posts are grouped together.
SNAIL Approved Track List
Full approved track list can be found here.

Prize winners are allowed to choose the time of day for their track selection. If a specific time of day is not selected then the default time of day will be used. (Note: The time of day settings differ between arcade and online modes in the game. Always check the lobby settings when selecting time of day.) In the event that a track is frozen, the time of day will also be frozen with the track.

Please remember that any car and track combo chosen must produce a mid-division lap time that is under 5 minutes. Also note that any selected track will be bound by the SNAIL lobby settings.

Also remember that any car chosen must not hit the rev limiter at any time, even in the draft.

@MikeGrove @Timlour @LST @Xradkins @Rob Brown @Yugofan @Noob01_lmdead @Kgffy @Phlano099 @Bologna_Duc @BB25

If you raced in D2 this Sunday then you get to vote for one of these choices. Only vote for one by posting in this thread. Don't edit your post and don't vote if you didn't race in D2. Deadline will be 8PM ET on Thursday. In the event of a tie, the first vote cast will break that tie. If the event that nobody votes, the first suggestion made will be the choice.
