This Wednesday will run if we have enough people. As of now we will obviously run one division. I’m online if anyone wants to practice. Then I can start to get an idea of how many people we will have.

Welcome to SNAIL

From our humble beginnings, SNAIL (aka Sunday Night American Interactive League) is now the largest console-based sim racing league in the world. Our mission is to provide our members with clean, intense, and competitive racing - regardless of skill level! We believe that providing full grids of evenly-matched competitions is the most realistic way to race, improve skill, and refine racecraft! Our league night is Wednesday at 9:00pm Eastern / 6:00pm Pacific, but we also have a a wide variety of other events held on other nights of the week. If this sounds like something you'd like to be a part of, please keep reading to learn more about us and how to join.

HOW TO JOIN

Step 1: Post a request to join (do not PM me, just post your request on this thread).
Step 2: Watch the thread for a reply to your post and follow the instructions provided.
Step 3: Wait to be assigned to a division and then join that division's lounge on Wednesday night.
If you are not sure which division you are assigned to, please check the Offical Driver List
Step 4: Post your livery choices for the three cars that aren’t already chosen for your division. Consult Official Drivers List

Hey Zii, I'd love to help support this, but just don't think I can swing another night of racing during the week, what with co-running our series and running part time in SRM. If I was a lazy retired wanker like Lobban, or a dog 🤬 like SGETI, who can race every night, then yea, I'd be in like flint! If ya have room for a part timer who can help fill a room once in a while, then I would try to do that. :cheers:

I understand man. That’s why I didn’t tag you in it. But you’re welcome to join whenever. It’s just like Sunday snail was. As of now we will run one room but as we get more we will start to divide up into divisions.
 
So I’m seriously interested here. I want the actual lowdown on whether it really works or not in PC2.

But I won’t spend my $89 to get something unless it works for this particular racing event.

I got GTS specifically because PCars was buggy.
 
We will run a full event this Wednesday. So far it all seems to work. Still have to do manual reverse grid but otherwise I haven’t had issues
 
Hey Racers, I’m potentially interested in joining up. I haven’t purchased PCars2 yet ... was really hoping that GT Sport was going to live up to the hype ... which it hasn’t.

How is the car ‘feel’ in comparison to Assetto Corsa? To me, the feedback in AC is second to none. GT Sport feels a bit numb in comparison. AC is lacking in online features and community ... how is the online community for PCars2?

Lastly, I’m assuming this is a Tuning Prohibited league, correct?

Hey Ice! Great to hear from you. Ya, back in the day I was on GT5 religiously ... I raced GT6 sporadically ... now I’m just happy to run a few times during the week. Between work and family ... my sim racing time is limited, like almost all of us old dudes, I’m sure.

My son has now become a huge Gator fan. We’re in Tampa. But you aren’t in Florida anymore right?

This group is like our online rooms years ago. Clean and respectful dudes.

Correct, I’m no longer in FL. Moved from FL to Maine, in 2006.

Glad to hear about the group being clean and respectful ... makes for an enjoyable experience for all.

How is the driving experience / feel / feedback in PCars2 vs GT sport or assetto corsa?
 
I raced PCars 1 since it came out but haven’t tried 2 yet. PCars is a lot better feel, physics and sounds wise than GTS. And, from what these guys are saying, 2 has eliminated the majority of the bugs they were experiencing. Which was my only stumbling block to getting 2. I got GTS primarily for nostalgia reasons...custom painting cars, liveries and gorgeous graphics.

I have not tried AC but I know some of these guys have it and can probably tell you about it.
 
Thanks to everyone that has signed up. We will run these combos this week!!! Drivers list is updated with the drivers who have the game and posted to join. We will have a time trial to separate divisions after the race this week. So everyone will have their time set when we do go to multiple rooms.
 
Hey Zii, I'm going to try and show up for tonight if I can get some work done in time. I see you posted a 9 pm start, is it going to be the same as SNAIL Sundays though, where you start race 1 qualy at 9:30?

Maybe if you stayed away from the sheep during the day, you may be able to better manage your time and actually do some work during the day, your evenings could be spent racing. Just saying. :cheers:
