PSN bans are very unlikely unless he is on a CFW PS3. Reset your PS3 system setting and see if you can login in. I had a similar situation the other day.
 
But he can log in on other accounts, on the same PS3.

I know it's probably not that but...

Network settings carry over onto every account on the PS3 right?
 
its working now when i share my phone network to ps3 so its something network based then. but its strange that i can go on my other account?
 
Yeah that's really strange, I figured network settings carried over for every account you make on the PS3, but maybe not since it sounds like it was a network setting problem now...

What I'd do is check how you have it set up on the other account, then copy those settings to MCR-Max.

yea but my internet is working as i can update games and browse the internet, but i cant connect to psn. also i have the same settings on my other account. could it have something to do with that its a japanese account?
 
Well it looks like im going to use my other account, add maxmoboy everyone :P

Woops, I meant 5 speed. Aint no way im going to tune for a 4 speed that long lol. Ill put it up on GTP when im finished.
