So after practicing the Mercedes with the H shifter, and then not being able to race last Tuesday, I was excited to run a Stock car at Watkins Glen this week. "Great, another opportunity to clutch and shift," I thought.
Unfortunately, if you don't know how to heal-toe shift, it's going to be hard to be competitive in this combo. And I unfortunately haven't mastered the art. I don't think I'll get it down by Tuesday either.
The worst part is, if I try to use the auto-clutch, I always end up hitting the brake between shifts .
As Gr8bish said, in "Murica" lol. Working in southern Virginia for a couple of weeks, that's why I missed last week and will miss tomorrow night. Gonna have some rust to shake off when I get back.
