I'm sorry to anyone I impeded or got in the way of. First night jitters are now out of the way, should be a bit better (but not much) next week.
It was a lot of fun, even with all the screw ups by me. Ended up liking the kart race better than the Renault. Go figure...

@Lessen, I'm not in the voting dropdown, is it automatic addition once scores are in or does it require human input (and if so, who do I bug for it)?

Sure wish I could say I had fun tonight. It's a **** good thing I'm not used to saving replays in Pcars as I could file at least six major OLR infractions. I know I'm one of the slower guys here but that doesn't give a couple of you the right to think you can just shove me the **** out of the way! If you are behind someone it is your responsibility to brake appropriately to avoid hitting the person in front. I also just can't believe the blatant re-entry to the racing line after loss of control a few times tonight as well, jeez. I'm not one to complain in a thread but I'm not staying silent this time. A couple of you need to smarten the **** up, we are supposed to be racing clean and fair, there was a lot of that tonight but there was also a lot of crap driving.

thanks @brntguy for posting youtube. Maybe someone who is tech savey can help me. I use to be able to click once on any youtube video and it would start. Now I click once ,nothing, click a second time and the display shows two bars for play, but still not playing. the third click opens the video and as is well.

Any ideas? I still can not watch the twitch video above. I have not installed or deleted any programs. thanks.

I agree whole heartedly. Wht happened to the OLR? I want to call out a couple of guys, but not in the thread. I do know that if I was OOB as much as one guy, I might be winning more too. Unless we start enforcing the rules, This series will lose people looking for a better racing experience. Lesson has put a lot of time and energy into this league and at the very least we should respect what he is trying to accomplish and race within the rules.

@brntguy I was hoping you caught my rollover on the first kart race but you didn't. I chuckled a little bit when you switched to me after I rolled and saw me racing without the plastics lol. @Lessen Iam sure you saw my rollover if you saved the replay.

@Mike Lobban Sorry for the bump on that first race. I had no practice all week and decided to give it a shot. I knew I bumped you off your line so I let you go back around me as I don't like to bump people then pass them.

Hey bro, no worries. You did the right thing by conceding the place. It pays to practice for PCars. This is definitely not GT6.
That Renault was a blast when the tires wore out, it was like skating on really dull skates. Should be interesting next week at Monaco. I love that track.

Since I took over management of this series some four months ago many things have changed. The policies are far more formal and organized, the format is fresh and challenging, the head count has steadily increased & participation outside of racing is also on the rise. One aspect however seems to be seeing little improvement, that which is the reason we're all here; Clean Racing. Over several weeks I've heard and read many concerns and complaints, many of which via methods I do not condone, nonetheless the general feeling is all too obvious and cannot be ignored. The repetition and frequency of these complaints says something about the racing here no matter how friendly the discussions seem to be.

Due to what I feel is a general lack of concern for several specific racing policies and overall respect for the SNAIL OLR I will be conducting a FULL AUDIT of races 1,2 & 3 of this week's events (S7R4) that I do have replays for. I will not be posting points standings until everything has been accounted for. I think it would be realistic for all drivers to realize there could possibly be a lot of point penalties handed out with offending drivers being placed on probation as the WRC IR policy outlines. As a fellow driver I am not excluded from this audit.

The racing here in WRC will only be as clean as we allow it to be. The results of this audit will serve as my final general warning for all of us to shape up.

Oh-Ooooh :(

I tried several of those old open wheel Lotus cars when the pack was released and man they are fun! They sound so good and are just a hoot to drive.

Just noticed Mr Hanky the Christmas Poo has graced our presence. Don't make me pull a Towelie on you!

Got to love public rooms..

So you're saying going in reverse is NOT the fastest way around the track?

First time I ventured online in PCars, I got on a room with 4 people, thinking it would be better than a full one. Turn 1, two of them crash, Turn 2 two more, I'm left all alone. Quickly bail from room and go back to single player...

Sounds about right haha.

I have seen a few of our guys in public rooms. Like Smiggz says, once in a while....it happens. Once you clear the noobs, you can have a good race. I use it to practice MY racecraft, collision avoidance and feel for the car in real traffic. I usually place high in public rooms.

What was that towelie?

Oh yeah btw...keep the Kart because awesome. We could potentially have a big Kart and a little Kart this week ;)

Thanks again for the work you're putting into this Lesson, it's appreciated!

A tough week for voting choices!

Not surprised the Kart is gone but surprised the Lotus didn't get the vote, it is such a drivers car! Me and Flip are both huge Jim Clark fan's, it would have been sacrilegious not to vote for it! Oh well, off to try out the BM.

Drivers,

Season 7 point standings are complete, but for some reason the page is not showing the image (although it shows up in the edit window). I've seen this happen before, hopefully it will work itself out and display properly.

Conratulations to @irmopars on another season victory!

STEWARD REPORT

As previously stated I have done an audit of the events of S7R4. However, it became quite clear that I possess neither the time or the bitterness to review and therefor penalize for all races. In the first race alone there were ~60 individual incidents and no driver came away unscathed. Many of them were quite minor. Some of them not so much. As steward in this situation, I must document everything, no matter how miniscule. The New IR Compiling list can be viewed here. It needs to be noted that the spreadsheet is not completely accurate and I'm still trying to diagnose formula errors as they pertain to calculating live ongoing probation dates. However, the penalty levels and penalty points per infraction are accurate as they are entered. The New IR Compiling list should revert to blank on Sunday so it is advised to review it today. Drivers who must serve penalties beyond the indicated number of probation weeks shall be contacted via PM.

Simply put, this is beyond absurd, and it was only 1 race. We have a group of damn good drivers that know how to race clean within the rules. This series should be the "Sunday" of Project Cars. Let's make it what we know it can be.

A couple notes:

  1. An OOB concession needs to be a seperate action to negate any advantage gained. Slowing down in an effort to get back on track is NOT a consession. Unlike GT6, stewards do not have the ability to view throttle input. It's is primarilly audible cues only. An OOB concession needs to be a wholly seperate action after the infraction and it must be obvious.
  2. If a concession causes another driver to take aversive action, a higher point penalty is likely
