Game 2 of the doubleheader wasn't as nice. Reds scored 5 in the bottom of the 2nd, then promptly gave up 5 in the top of the next inning. There wasn't another run scored until the Cubbies somehow strung together 3 hits against Chapman in the 9th to pull ahead and win by 1. :(

Last Saturday night was a very interesting night in my racing. Got my best finish yet this year getting 8th of 15 cars yet the track was the roughest it has ever been. At the same time during the feature I lost brakes and my transmission got a little damage on it (Crack on the bellhousing) then my front right suspension A Frame bar lost the barings. so my brakes were flapping from left to right which also means when my barings got lost my wheel was going everywhere.

then you will see at the end of the video a guy was a car and a half length behind me and used me as a brake dive bombed me but I saved it too even finish in 8th. Give that guy a Turtle Racing League GTPlanet Rulebook! :lol:

Enjoy the video, my car is really starting to get way better especially with new shocks and new ball joints in the car for the suspension.

Don't worry this isn't a facebook post :lol:, I just enjoy sharing my racing videos with all of you :cheers:

160.9. I had 158 on monday, 163 on Saturday supposedly. 120,000 mile block, rebuilt head. All stock.

There may be no race tracks where you live but.there are plenty of houses available near racetracks!

I have Oyster Bed Speedway. It's a little oval an hour and a half away.

BUT I DON'T WANNA JUST TURN LEFT :lol:
 
I'm spoiled. Not that I'd ever get a chance to take any laps around the tracks, but I've got Indianapolis Motor Speedway a little over an hour away, Kentucky Speedway about an hour out, and Lawrenceburg Speedway, a short dirt track, less than 30 minutes from my house. Indy is the only one that contains a road course, but still.

I guess I could put up some traffic cones around the neighborhood and race around it until I got hauled off to jail. :D

Couldn't you just ask your local government to use a large enough parking lot (and maybe ask the tenant of said lot) and use it for racing?

Thought I was going to make it tonight, but i can't. I have to work tonight (the 1st) so my heath benefits stay in effect through the end of the month. Start new job Monday. Back on 1st shift finally.
