if we get enough members, we can try to apply for 2 spots as well in different classes. The races this year we are getting are short races, so not many guys will be able to drive.
 
So, when will we head to Le Mans for some group practicing sessions and pit socializing?
 
I'm down for a 240 minute race with day/night cycle. I'll take the SRT Viper GTS!

Race Length: 60 Minutes

Tuning: Maximum HP 620 - Minimum Weight 1345kg

Nitrous: Prohibited

Tires: Sports - According to your strategy

Tire Wear-Fuel Consumption: Fast

Mechanical Damage: Off

Penalty: Game System Off - Subject to Video Review

Visible Damage: Off

Cars: From list - 2 drivers per car - First come, first served


How to enter the RUSH RACING SERIES - Street Supersports Challenge

Step 1: Post your request to join along with your PSN ID in this thread. This event will be open to 16 drivers, so make sure when signing up you're absolutely sure you will be able to participate. The first 16 will be granted a place on the grid. However, you may sign up as an alternate.

Step 2: Once you have secured a place on the grid, you will need to choose one of the listed cars and post your choice in the thread including color choice if necessary. The selection process will be on a "first come, first served" basis.

Schmiggz, i figured out my Merc top speed issue. Had no idea installing the Flat Floor aero upgrade would cause such a vast change in the car. With and without, it is a completely different vehicle.

top speed dropped by 20+mph when installed
PP went up 20+ points when installed
Handling and braking was hugely improved with flat floor installed, but lap times were much longer due to the top speed issue (Lemans has long straights!).

anyway, once i took them off, the car handles as crappily as all the others :lol:, but reaches a pretty good top speed down the straights now.

Good deal Mica. Last night i was looking for you all over Le Mans but haven't find you. Tonight I'm opening a practice room to whoever wants to put in some final touches and compare lap times.

I'll try to be on tonight. last night i was in my own private room testing all kinds of settings more than anything else so i wasn't available anyway. I kept jumping in and out installing and removing aero parts, before i figured out what the deal was. And it was very late.

It's going to be very close whether or not we get 15 or 16 laps in this race before the 60 minute timer goes off. Some may and others certainly will not. it will make for some interesting strategy decisions potentially. Not sure how fuel mileage is with all the cars, but the merc is very borderline.

Flat floors are a great upgrade at 600pp plus and if you are on a twisty track.
 
yeah, i was smoking it through the esses and under braking it was incredibly stable. But losing 10 seconds down the straights isn't going to cut it for this race.
