0:55:824 -- Deep Forest, Help!

Now I dont know if this is the proper section of the forum to post this so if anyone reads this and feels it belongs somewhere else, please feel free to notify a moderator or let me know where it belongs to repost it at the proper location. Thanks...


I currently did a time of "0:55:824" on Deep Forest Raceway, now as I just checked, my time is not the fastest, but from the effort I put, it may be the fastest time I can get. For some reason after the 2nd underpass the car becomes very unsettled, I try to stay on the apex of that corner and then go wide to use the outside of the track to gain more speed but for some reason as I'm turning it keeps on oversteering. Now I know this may seem as a tune up question, but its more of like, where do I have to go on the track to keep the car turning and maintain acceleration? its that little crazy part of the track before you go to the back "Striaght" by the river. So far I got the last corner ok, it was hard before as the car would just fishtale a bit and send me into the walls. Below is a track map and the area where I have the problem.



Now I did the lap and followed the rules, no wall riding...2 wheels on track at all times and right now I'm looking for the CD that came with my max drive to port over a save to share. Here's a pic of the screen with the time.



If anyone has any tips on how to overcome this section, please let me know. I know that If I try really hard, I can probably get a sub 52 or less.

wow! ok now thats fast!....so what were your settings if you dont mind me asking. I'm using the F1 as well, but its stock, and I haven't changed any settings on it. And I see that on the same part that I had problems on, you didnt. You cliped the inside apex and accelerated out of it, it was awesome! ...I guess I need more practice.

That was a great lap man I haven't tried to come back to it yet but u said u kep it full throttle for the last turn...AYEEEEE!!!! I have to lift just a bit LOL.

yea when I first got the F1 I went straight to that track, and yea at the last corner I would lift or downshift instead of lifting....but then after a few tries I kinda figured how to keep it flat through there. Oh and before I would always spin there as the back end of the car becomes very unstable. Well atleast for me it did.
