01 Ctr???? < that's a civic seemingly.

I was wondering if anyone else has got the 01 EP3-R. Does it only come in black, that is the only one that i could find in my style civic

The '01 Civic Type R is also available in red in the 90's II used pile. I may have seen it in white, but maybe I was thinking about the '04, which is only available in white.

(The CTR is also a Ruf, so it helps to be more specific for future searches...)

thank you, i know in japan the 01 EP3-R came in milano red, championship white, and the black color. i have only been able to find the black one!!!!

You were too vague with the CTR and too specific with the ep3.

To me, a CTR is a Ruf. I have no idea what an ep3 is.

The alphanumeric model indicator is a little vague to most people, myself included.

I was also puzzled about the "CTR" thinking it was a Ruf at first, but to clear things up about the EP'ing for Civics:

EG = Early 90's
EK = Late 90's
EP = Current model

Edit: To answer your question, the Civic Type R '01 is available in red, white and black.

if only the topic read 01 CTR CIVIC... the fact the the RUF CTR isn't an 01 is of little help to those rufaholics among us.

probably for the same reason they DIDN'T write Honda. i guess redundant info isn't really required. ie if we knew it was a civic, we would have known it was a honda, but it would have helped. but we didn't, so we didn't and so it didn't and now we don't...

CTR could have meant any number of things:

Chrysler Truck Race, Close Transmission Ratio, Corolla Technical Rectification, Convertible Topless Ruf, Close Testing Races, Clear Triumphant Results, Consumer Trial Rulings, Conducting True Research.

Point is, TLAs are only useful to those who know their meanings. If they aren't generally known, they aren't generally useful.

If you own it then go into Arcade Mode and select the CTR and it'll show what other colours it comes in..
