1.05 Race BGM Bug

Weird... mine can't even play at all!!! The enable custom music option has been blocked on mine for some reason and I'm stuck listening to the GT in-game tracks... :grumpy:

If you have the little red 'tick' through the enable personal BGM option, you have to first select a song(s), folder, album, or playlist of your own, right above that little red 'ticked' option, and then it'll become available without the red 'tick', THEN you can select that little 'Enable Personal BGM' option ;)

Ok now I have to enable it every time I start the game then the Game reverts back to default If I watch a replay 👎
 
Wow, you're right!!!! Yup, same happens to me... I think that might be the perp.
 
This happened to me as well, but it only happens whenever I drive the X1. Or watch the demo of it in the dealership, it's as if the car breaks the game :lol:
 
X-Frame
The game will switch back to it's own BGM after you restart a race it seems. Has happened all night, and I hate GT5's BGM so this is quite annoying, especially when there's some annoying techno blasting.

Anyone else notice this?

EDIT: This issue is GONE if you de-select all the default GT5 Race BGM tracks in the Music Menu one-by-one .. after that, your personal Race BGM works (at least for me) ..

I wiped out all the Menu & Race music, one by one.. and it still doesn't work online.
As soon as you get into the 'server' it plays that default crap stuff, and the race has no music at all.
 
It happened once when I was doing the Vettel challenge, after restarting a million times in Suzuka.

I also don't know why personal BGM never works online. Is there a hidden setting somewhere?
 
I have a fat 60 that doesn't work. I thought it was the Christmas muisic that was policied on causing things to go pear shaped. Turns out this was not the case.

I will try disabling all prepacked tunes though. Sounds like a good idea. Hopefully this will get resolved in the next patch.
 
The Race BGM has seemed to cause another problem as well. Not sure if it's associated with the patch, but it's only happened after 1.05. The game will completely lock the console up at about the 1min 40 second mark of any track session. Any race, practice, test, anything. I use custom BGM, don't know if it's also associated with GT5 loaded music. Someone told me their problem went away after turning the Race BGM off, and it worked. If your game is locking up mid race all the time, this is likely the problem.
 
This happens to me all the time. Luckily the race music has never been effected, but the menu always. And its sporadic too. Sometimes its after a few races, sometimes immediately. I tried disabling all the preset music and cleared my network cache, but didnt help. Now instead of elevator music, it just wont play anything until I go back in and change it. Any new ideas or updates on this bug yet? Its really driving me up the wall!
