When I was dragging today this aventador was beating me in my 2012 gtr....by a lot....and it wasn't due to launch it was the pull...I had never seen an aventador with that kind of top end....what I want to know is hoe to improve the top end on my gtr 2012 for quarter mile because I've never had an aventador smoke me so much...Thanks guys!

Here ya go in a nutshell.
Final gear is the key.
Lets say for instance that your max final gear is 5.000 and the min is 2.500. With the final gear set at 5.000 1st gear will be, when set all the way to the left, lining up with the 8 in the red 7800rpm in your transmission graph with a top speed of 168mph. If the final gear is set at 2.500 1st gear will be pointing to the m in the red 7800rpm, when set to the far left. while all the while still at 168mph, still in same location. having the lower final gear makes all your gears closer together which will allow you to say in the best rpm range for your car. A low final gear will have your gears farther apart so you will not stay close to your optimum rpm. Thats why you get "pulled" on at the back half of the race.

Well, those are pretty decent times. The 8.919 was probably a good shift or without a black screen launch. I just found this post, and i do not know if it will work as I do not have the black edition but just try it out and tell me what you get. And make sure to save your tune. I just took a look at the leaderboard, and the lp700 is 0.001 second faster.

Ride height: -20 +40
Spring Rate: 20.0 17.0
Dampers(Extension): 10 10
Dampers(Compression): 10 10
Anti-Roll Bars: 1 1
Camber: 0.0 0.0
Toe Angle: 0.00 0.00

They're the only settings necessary to run in the low 8.91's. Launch with RPM hitting about 7000-8000RPM and shift as close to 8000 as you can using manual transmission. Good luck.👍

My final gear is at 2.683 with the first gear on the p...so yourre saying I need that number to be higher than 2.683?

Didn't get any 8.91's but consistently 8.94's now!

You wanna do little tricks hear and there to get your car off the line be my guess. But at Indy it's just straight full throttle gas for me.

lol Karo I think you confused the hell outta them

I'm pretty sure neither of them use the e-cheat. THey just meant they hold the ebrake then release to launch.

Ahhh ok. They were confusing me talking about the E-brake launch lol.

I asked ps3 tuner, but sure what do you run. I also gave you a question on your message list. I was wondering how much horsepower you had on your supra rz when you ran a 9.896.

Best i ran was a 8.907 with the GTR
And i believe i have 725HP in my Supra
 
Oh, I don't have the black edition, but I beat most with my LMQ (which still isn't the best). I run a 9.942-6 with my 720 hp rz, I don't know if it can go any faster, I've been playing with it but IDK, what do you think?
