Is anyone else on a T598 and encountering FFB issues after 1.66?

FFB felt great on 1.65, but after the update anytime the rear end is on the edge I get a horrible grinding in the FFB. Audible grinding sound and instead of feeling the back end slip I just get a grinding torque sensation.

Anyone else?

Yes, vibration is off. Too much and no regolation mitigate it, aside nerf FFB. Big pity because1.66 is a pleasure to drive.

2 workaround.. use blue settings or use P in istead E in wheel menu (red mode) in combination whit Boost Low = - 2

Hope kaz solve this! :D

I use these, and feels pretty good. Tho I don't have the acknowledge, what it was before the update. I bought the wheel yesterday.
Without these settings, post Spec 3, any F1 car on a long straight gave you death wobbles that would burn out your grip. Now the wobble is manageable. But I still get that insane death rattle when oversteer goes past the slip angle. Hopefully Thrustmaster refines their firmware in the next few months. These suggested settings make the wheel manageable but the overall resistance is more diminished at these lower settings.

These new settings do work much better, but you still get crazy grinding feedback in the rear end on some cars. Feels bad.
It's the first time a sound from my rig has bothered my wife at the other end of the room. They really need to fix it. Sure it communicates when you've exceeded the tire's grip but it almost makes you scared of playing past the slip angle and under driving your car.

I played with the settings for awhile and so far everyone is just toning down the overall FFB just to reduce the rattle. Thrustmaster's recommended settings even cheat by recommending to use at least TCS1. Obviously you would get a diminished effect during slides if you're using TCS to reduce the occurrence of slides. And the way GT7 works, turning on TCS would ruin my early throttle exits.

I tried other settings from random people online and you lose a lot of track feel in most of them compared to TM's official suggestion. I would get a smooth glassy feeling through the slip angle, essentially driving blind until the rig rattles.

I guess I'm using Thrustmaster's settings and under driving my cars until this gets patched. :(
