Thom Yorke, Bob Dylan and Zach De La Roche are all good examples. I don't see how anyone could mistake them for another singer.

Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Freddie Mercury, Ozzy Osbourne, Bob Dylan, Phil Collins, Elton John, Tiny Tim, Janis Joplin

I can't really find 10, but:

Geddy Lee (Rush)
Daron Malakian & Serj Tankian (System of a Down)
Lil' Wayne (No, seriously. I could recognize him from a mile away)
Chris Cornell
AC/DC's vocalists, both.

I think people beat me to all of them...

Jimmy "the rev", form A7X has some insane vocal skills, when frontman Matt isnt singing. R.I.P Jimmy, defiantly in the top 25 drummers off all time IMO, not to mention one of the best metal song writers.

I don't want to break into a long list (because I can't narrow it down to ten). But has no one mentioned Amy Lee yet? IMO she is the best female vocalist out there and you always know when it's her on the mic.

I agree with you, her voice is a lot more recognizable than most girl vocalists
