Hello, i have noticed on the home page where it says forums it says "message boards, join 80,000 memebers....."
shouldnt it say 90,000.... just a suggestion:sly:

We are nearing 100,000!!! So why does it still say 80,000?

I look at the main page everday so I can see if it's anyone's birthday that I know here.
And I like this city(GTP), it's such a cool place I come when ever I can:D.
 
i remember only 3 months ago GTPlanet only had about 85,000 now it has 91,589 so it should have 100,000 in no time

If GTP City (i prefere GTPlanetsville) has a population of 100,000, then 99,000 of them only have holiday homes here ;)
 
I noticed by looking through the member list that many users have never posted. I'm sure it has something to do with viewing videos and pictures. I recall not being able to view any before I was a registered member. That may have something to do with it.

I still think it'd be interesting to find how many active members GTPlanet has. An exact count of how many registered members have actually made more than 10 posts.

hmmm..... I think someone said something like 150 are really active. not sure how many have 10 or more posts

Just to inform everybody, i updated the wikipedia page to have 90,000 instead of 80,000

We talked about this in another thread a few weeks back. Considering the amount of posts members have posted and limiting the list to those who've posted in the past year or so it was guessed that there's about 800-1000 active members.

I wonder what the last activity of the non-posters is. I bet some haven't even been on GTP FOR YEARS!!! 100,000 members is kinda superfluous when only a marginal amount is active.

Member counts of excess sizes are not important, what's important is that those members that are active are posting good topics and replies for discussion.
 
It's at the bottom of the main page now. :)

I think it was better at the top, it was the first thing visitors saw and 90,000 is impressive so why not show it off??
