100% Car collection? Anyone?

I'm wondering if there are fellow collectors out there who are trying to get all of the cars in the game (save for possibly some/all DLC cars, and stealth cars), and I want to know the system/s you've used to determine which cars you need.

For Premium I think it's as easy as just going through the NCD and seeing which cars aren't ticked? Should be 2XX including the DLCs if you've bought them all?

For Standards, so far I think the best way is to sort by model number descending, then go through with a full list on a computer and find the cars on that list that aren't in the garage.

Pity we can't export the list into some form of xml or something, are these the two best ways?

I own almost 800 of the 1000+ cars in this game. Getting tired of seeing nothing but checkmarks when I go to the used Dealer.
That Weds Sport GT300 Celica just refuses to appear though. -_-

Yeah, I found this place too, very good reference, was hoping there was an in-game method, but I suppose this is the best.
 
When I really started to get into this game I found the easiest way to keep track of what cars I needed was by using an app called GT5 garage. It sorted the cars you had as you checked them off which also made it a lot easier to see which ones were needed.
I eventually completed the list about a month ago, but this was mainly due to the last car wanted being untradeable. There's now over 1300 cars in the garage!

The way I did it, and it was waaaay more difficult back then, because there were no Seasonals with high payouts, was like this:

  1. Get 20 million
  2. Buy everything from the UCD that you don't have yet
  3. Race 5 races (that will fill up your bank account and completely renew the UCD)
Now repeat 2 & 3 until you have them all.

What I also did, was give each car the chassis & engine renewal treatment. That made it a lot more expensive, of course. Back then I really had to focus on lower priced cars first then switch to the remaining race cars. Now, it shouldn't be a problem to just buy all that show up. (you can make something like 5 million in 5 short races, so there should always be plenty of cash to spend)
 
It's not impossible to gather all types of machines but as to a small flake of them it takes much time to find them coming up to the list periodically.
 
It is some feet to get every car. I know of some people on here who have every car in every colour in 0/0/0 condition!!!

:crazy: Hell what a stunt it is... can't mess up with my user accounts only to achieve the trick. :scared:
 
In my opinion, since its impossible to get every car in the game (and it was a huge mistake setting GT5 up this way, IMO) its dumb to try

All that hard work, and there will still be 5 or so cars you will never own.

Yeah it's a futile attempt to carry out.
 
I got all the cars in the game inclusive Stealth, Chrome and DLC cars and non-tradable.

Plus a lot of unpaintable cars in different colors and a replicas.

And more than 600 cars are 0/0/0 too.

At the moment 1961 cars! :)

But I'm collecting since the game has been released.

It`s not possible to get all cars on ONE account. Due to US and Europe specials you must have different accounts to collect them all.

It depends on your definition of 100%. One of each car is pretty common. I personally used mygranturismo.net and I did this before they added tick marks next to each car. :D Here is a thread with people with every car. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=193165

DLC makes it impossible, you just have to count whats available for your region. Unless you buy multiple copies of the game from different regions.

Good luck! Yes there are people with every single car in every single color all 0/0 so the people telling you it's impossible are wrong. However I would find it hard to believe someone is able to do that on there own with out the Marketplace.
 
In every colour? That's insanity, no way, I just want one of each of the original cars in the game, forgetting stealth or chrome even DLC (though I have some already), I counted all of the premiums I don't have, Its something close to 100,000,000cr for them alone.

Then there's all the cars I don't own from the UCD, I feel a though the game often gives me the cars I don't have, I did start by just buying every car I didn't have, but as I've been refreshing, there's usualy 2 or 3 unticked cars from the 30 car cycle, and sometimes its good that its that low, especially if a few of them cost a couple of million, gives me 5 races to get some back.
 
Not only do I have every car in the game available to north American players, I have most of my used cars under 10,000km (6,200 mi).

Early on I printed off a list of all cars someone did in excel, checked it vs. the book that came with the collectors edition I bought and the online list from the official site. Kept up with updates from this site and downloads, even got a schick camaro without buying the product and the "new" standard cars in the recent OUCD.

There is a thread somewhere else on here I replied to for players with all cars. Takes a ton of time and patience, but it is possible, me and many others have done so.

We didn't get all Academy events since Sweden isn't in EU according to Ployphony so I Academy cars are not included since they aren't originally from the game anyway.
I don't trade so this list is something I've worked on my own (got a free X2010 and a Stealth for helping a person).

Got the 2D just the other day, I need the 2J actually, might be a good opportunity to learn and execute the 'borrow copy glitch' technique (haven't looked it up).

It's a pretty good car so far, haven't used it maxed out, like the look of it.

I could've got it but I wasn't rich enough to buy the 2D from the OCD the other week.
I haven't looked it up either since I'm on a mission to get 100% ingame cars solo.
