Im sure you don't have to complete races in arcade like in gt3. Im not sure if you have to gold all the races to get 100% game completion . im currently 97% with a couple of endurance races to go and some special events (alpha on eiger and red bull) but the rest i have all gold so i can't really tell. You do have to gold everything in the game for 100% trophies though...
