Famine
I couldn't be arsed doing the tags and oysters. I'll do them when I'm back in Los Santos next.

You are probably better off waiting til you can access the boat school-- golds are all pretty easy and then you can use the sea sparrow for oysters

spuds not only can you find a sea sparrow near the big dam wall. (south east of it) im postives your medals on the boat school have nothing to do with getting a sea sparrow to spawn on that heli pad.

I won't say that isn't true-- I didn't visit the boat school til I went to complete it, a heli wasn't there when I arrived, but spawned when I exited (I didn't exit til I golded it).

What do you get for completing the boat school, they give you stuff for the other ones--- I assumed it was the sea sparrow....on rare occasions, spuds is wrong. :nervous:

This is weird: I am almost positive that when I first found the boat school there was a Maverick sitting on the heli-pad, but now when I go to the boat school (after getting all golds), a sea sparrow spawns on the heli-pad! :boggled:

Of coarse there is the possibility that I didn't have my glasses on at the time. ;)

Do they both spawn in different locations or randomly on the same heli-pad? I am playing right now and there is a Maverick on the heli-pad. Where/when does the Sea Sparrow spawn?

EDIT: After a few minutes of experimentation, I have concluded that either the Sea Sparrow or the Maverick can spawn on the heli-pad by the boat school. I guess it is just like most of the wheeled-vehicle spawn points, where the vehicle that spawns in the location is random. Sorry if I sound a little excited about this minor discovery, but there was nothing like this on Vice City.

i think this is similar to the hunter/leviathon problem at verdant meadows.. either you have to go far enough away for a long enough time for it to completely reset, or you have to move the maverick off the helipad then go a normal distance you would trying to get something to respawn.. after doing this i've had the maverick spawn a 2nd time but not very often.. hope that helps
note: somtimes it'll work if you just blow it up.. but i recommend just moving it completely off the helipad, leaving and coming back

I'm currently on-target for a 31 hour...

Nevertheless, a screenshot, if you please MythosII.

Yes - that's IT...

(and you'll get shouted at for bunging this in here, rather than a missions FAQ thread, but hey...)

No, that's okay, as he was referring to something quickly. As long as this is the end of the discussion. I'll let it pass.

MythosII -- A screenshot would be great for that, as it's probably the quickest we've seen on any Forum. Great job. Were you aiming for that quick-a-time?

Slowly but surely I have finally achieved 100% at 90:51! May I please be admitted to this coveted club? Or do I have to complete some other initiation process :trouble:?

By the way, I am still interested in seeing a screenshot from MythosII. . . .

Yep, put this "outfit" on and get into that wooden barrel in the corner. The ceremony will begin soon. Try to keep the screaming and squirming to a minimum. It'll all be over in a minute.

KM,

You just gave me a flash back of my shell back initiation-- in the navy, when you cross the equator the first time, you become a shellback and are initiated by the people that did it before you.

It made me the person I am today though---someone whoboasts of killing 439,000 people in a video game :scared:  :yuck: :dopey: :ouch: :grumpy: :indiff:

I don't even want to know what being a shellback means. Or maybe I do.

KM.

Hey guys, what exactly changed when I got 100%? I know about the Hydra and Rhino at CJ's house, and the unlimited ammo, but is there anything else special that happens?

Its pretty boring-- I wouldn't do it all in one sitting if you do it-- I'd do brownthunder if I were you (although it will likely take you about 4 hours if you can keep it going)-- just make sure you know where some bribes are so you can clear your stars so you can stop and eat-- find some places to get food outside so your hunter doesn't disappear.

May I have the lead for now?

100% in 34h 13min :D

Was that your first or second time through--- either way, that seems pretty good for this game-- 👍

Also, did you do side stuff as you played through or did you complete mainly story and then go back???-- I'm just curious how fast the storyline can be done-- I'm assuming the 3 hours it takes to finish VCs storyline won't be beat.
